I actually have one =) It's a sexy lacy pink one my friend bought me for my 18th. You know the ones you buy in the lingerie shops. I can't wear it without blushing lol.

Haha, must have been a fun day. I got a bit tipsy on Xmas Eve and i have a slight hangover today from what i drank on Xmas day (oh, the glory of beging 19) but i had a pretty good day.
Yeah. I don't think it was banned, but it was frowned upon. To go to or be seen at a pub or brothel was shameful and while people still went places like that they tried to hide it.

No. It finished at the cinema before i had the chance to see it. Wanted to though, i just didn't have the time.

Lol, i will, will. I don't know when, but i will =)

20123 I can do it, but i prefer not to. I do exactly the same! Sometimes if i'm reading something that i'm not quite into, i'll take a break and read something else then get back to it. Otherwise i begin to resent the book.

Oooh. I'd be all on board with that. I wouldn't care about the mistakes either =)

Oh, so true Ellen.

If i wasn't a mod i'd be so far ahead of this with all my posts and that, lol. But i don't actually mind and i think this is a really excellent idea Bec.

Haha. Aw, you know i'm just yanking your chain. I don't really mean it ;)

Yes, we have agreed that! Jace is more than capable of defending his sexy butt, and in style too *sigh*

Haha, true! I think the era is nice. It's something i think i'd enjoy for a little while though and then get tired of it. I'm a jeans and tee girl...those clothing *shudders* I don't know if i could hack it.

I drink, but i don't get plastered. I just don't see the point. I'd rather have fun without regretting it in the morning. Besides, you don't need to dink to have fun in life. Exactly, i wonder why he does it too? He's such a great character the way he is now and it makes you, as the reader, want to know more about him and his past/life.

Wow....well, i definitely have to see it now if it's filled with awesomeness. Haha.

Oh, i get the comparison, i have seen some Sherlock Holmes movies, just not that one. Plus i've seen the commercials and trailers.

20123 I know! I fnd it hard, cos sometimes i'll be reading something, but itching to start something else. I don't really like reading more than one book at a time cos i fnd it hard to focus.

That's so true! You still want it to come out sooner though.

In one of the early chapters of Destined when she has a convo with her mum, i ended up doing it. Of course i corrected it when i edited it, but still....
Lol, it really can be sometime.

One of the reasons i find it easier to place my stories in America is that they have a lot better land settings for stories and stuff. We don't really have forests or things like that in Australia. And the bush just doesn't cut it with a lot of the tales. Plus their cities are harsher and it's easier to believe things happen there than here.
Same, i think i've picked it up from reading too. Most books i read are from America so it just seems normal to write a story like that too.

Who me? Cruel? Never? It's not like i leave my chapters on mini-cliff hangers or throw in a hundred different issues. Oh, wait........ ;)
It does sound a bit like a broken vase lol.
Nah, i took it does cos i'm looking for an agent and i figured they wouldn't want it broadcast and displayed for the whole world, lol.
Okie dokie....i'll send it to your hotmail...i'm pretty sure i've still got it =)

20123 Yeah, i hate that too. Plus it seems like they all come out around the same time, so then you get bombarded and don't know what to read.
I have a few ongoing series's that i'm dying for. I just read other books/series in the space between books.
Dec 18, 2010 12:10AM

20123 Lol :)

Oh, i've seen him. He's dashingly yummy! Oh, yeah....poverty and disease, anybody?

So do I. The way it ended with Will going to Magnus had me whimpering, cos i knew i was gonna have to wait forever to find out just what is going on. Not nice Clare, leaving it like that! I think i agree with her editor. I'm not a big fan of characters who spend the majority of their time drunk (Adrian is the exception to that rule). I feel like they're taking the easy way out and not very good people. But that's just me....
What about you?

See, you've got it exactly right.
I haven't seen it. I really wanna, but i just haven't gotten around to it.
Dec 18, 2010 12:01AM

20123 I know. Most of the things we read is set in America, so iy's just natural to set your own writing there too. I often have to go over and change things too. Like when i write mom. I write mum, lol.
Illinois. It probably didn't say so in what i have on here, but in the edited version it's in Illinois. And the spin-off i started but have yet to finish is set in Indiana. Right near the border to Illinois....
How about you? Where are most of your stories set?

20123 Ditto.
And there's so many series to wait for too, which just adds to the frustration....
Dec 17, 2010 11:53PM

20123 So have I. I use google a lot when i look for settings or things like that.

20123 FREAKING SEPTEMBER NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!!
Way, way too long..... i want it so much, after the way Unraveled ends.
You'll see once you read it ;)
Dec 17, 2010 09:02PM

20123 Me either, plus i'm so used to reading books set in America. It's strange reading a book where it's an Australian heroine and high school....so similar to our actual lives, lol.
