Frey tossed his earpiece aside and snatched his spare from his belt. He quickly activated it with heat vision. He saw her hiding and quickly rolled and shot ice at her feet, sticking her to the deck.

they can be really good friends though

Frey activated a shield and ducked behind it, trying to shake the sparks out of his eyes.

ok, maybe he was visiting earth, and something happened where they helped each other, and becmae friends.

maybe they know each other by kitty pryde, who is frey's mom ((even though he doesnt know that)) and he trained under star lord, and he and kitty are married, so he had to have met her at SOME point

Frey de-activated his helmet and warily got to his feet, keeping his blaster in hand.
