Jenny, I love this group! It widens my horizons! For example, I thought I hated romance genre, and for the most part I do (only because they're too graphic. Being a writer, I would much rather use my imagination.) However, because of Bookworms... I now am reading my first romance (Just for fun.)
Now, I'm in a pickle...which do I pick up to read today?!

I am trying to finish The Woman on the Train, too, great book by the way. I'm stretching myself rather thin, but I plan on finishing both before the end of the week.

196341 I'm really loving this book. I had to read Around the World challenge first, but I'm into Jack now. I can't wait until I have finished so I can see how others feel about it. Happy reading, everyone!

So far, I have loved everything that I've read by her.

196341 Hi all.

I really like Leighann Dobbs cozy mysteries. I just started a new one 'The Murder at Lowry House: a Hazel Martin mystery', which is book #1 of a series. I'm having a hard time putting it down. It takes place in the late 1800's - early 1900's and it's about a widow who writes mysteries. Lovely little story to cuddle up with, a cup of hot chocolate at the ready. Review to follow when I complete the book.

196341 I don't think I understand. They have to be set in America, but where do the states come in? Also, what do you mean by 'the books do not need to match the month'? I'm just not getting it. Sorry.

196341 I gave up! I am only 125 pages into it after a week, and I'm looking at over 300 to go by the 31st. This is so sad because I have also believed that, once started, you should read a book to its end.

196341 I can't get into it. I am trying, though.

196341 Thanks, Jenny. I got your message.
Jan 18, 2017 10:03AM

196341 Ok, guys. Another question. I think that I saw someone asking the same question last night, but I cannot find the answer. On Bingo, can you use one book for more than one requirement?
Thanks, Dee

196341 Hi, I'm Denise, or Dee, whichever is easiest. I live in California, near Yosemite. I have two cats, BoBo and Mimi, and they are both my loves. I'm known as "The Cat Lady" to all of my friends. Besides cats, I love to read (of course), to write (I am writing a memoir), and to crochet. I'm really excited about joining this group, although I don't quite know what I'm doing. As a result, I'm asking stupid questions and bothering our moderators. (Sorry Sarah and Jenny.)

196341 Sarah,
I want to read 'Inheritance' by Thomas Wymark. The others are by
'Lock and Key: the Initiation' by Ridley Pearson, ' The Woman on the Orient Express' by Lindsay Jayne Ashford.

196341 My suggestions are 'Woman on the Orient Express', 'Lock and Key' and Inheritance.

196341 Whoops! I did the shelf wrong. I need to put the challenge on the shelf, right? I put my general shelf, and not the bingo shelf. How do I fix it?
