Yeah! I've yet to start the second one. I'm lost in Holmes' book still. I need to read "Spit Second" for Around the USA. I also intend on reading Gone Girl for another group (which I plan to drop. I just don't have the time.) After Gone Girl, I'm gone! Then I'll be able to concentrate on this group.

This is a wonderful book. Of course, I have been a Sherlock fan since I can remember. I have seen "A Study in Scarlet" many times and was surprised to find the body in the book was male. It really makes no difference, it just took me by surprise. I have only gotten halfway through it, as I am reading 4 other books as well. I am laid up with my knee, so guess what I'll be doing this weekend??

Great book, eh Jenny! I finished it this morning. I am absolutely In love with Mac.

No worries Sarah."Yea, Sarah. I like to participate.

I couldn't take on reading 25 books plus the others. Next time (if there is a next time), I will read just one column.

Thanks, Denise - I have added it to the list."Thanks, Jenny. I just saw that it was based on Scott and Laci Peterson. I live about 1 hour away from where they used to and we really felt the loss. While it was a horrific story, it should be a good read.

Jenny...I would like to add
Gone Girl by
Gillian Flynn if we haven't already read it.

No. It's in Colorado. They don't go into the town, state or the geographic area.

I don't know if I need to let you know if I change the books I am reading, but here goes:
March
Real Murders by
Charlaine Harris in Colorado
April
Hammered by
Belle Knudson in Pennsylvania
June
Whisper Cape by
Susan Griscom in Oregan

I wouldn't spend the money, but you have the right idea...get it from the library.

I, too, changed my March read from Holiday in Death to Glory in Death. I'll wait until the holidays to read Holiday in Death.

I was so wrong about this book. In the very beginning, this book promised to be an exciting book. It wasn't too far into it that plunged meinto utter boredom. It didn't pick up again until 85% in. The ending was predictable.
