Now that my new bestselling Romantic Fiction is out in stores I've been writing a Netflix Original series that will debut in 2019. I'm very excited!

Does anyone have any questions they would like to ask about screenwriting, getting your work noticed, format, etc.? This is the perfect place. I'm willing to share resources and knowledge I have.

Lately, I've been using nature as an outlet to help with writers' block. What's been working for me is taking a walk, going to the beach, a hike, or just sitting at the park. Lately, I have been turning off my phone and genuinely embracing that very moment.

When working on the first draft of your script don't focus on editing. Concentrate on getting many ideas and thoughts down on paper as you can. Trust me there will be plenty of time to edit your script.

Jude wrote: "So I know market in terms of the Poetry I write. It's actually two markets. The First Market are specifically Christians and II Market are people who enjoy spoken word poetry. I have a flow for a b..."Hey Jude, since you already know the your target audience that's a great thing. That typically takes writers a while to discover. I would definitely start take all the poetry and begin compiling it in the order you want it arranged in the book. In addition, this is the time where you should be writing any new poems as well. Believe it or not, most people get stuck on actually writing the book. You have a head start because you have the poetry already written.
Your main focus should be on anything at the moment but completing the writing part of the process and get the book. I wouldn't even focus on editing at the moment either.

My Favorite Screenwriting Software Programs I Use:
My Favorite Screenwriting Software Programs I Use:So we all know that First Draft is the industry standard. However, it's quite pricey. The good thing about First Draft is they recently released Final Draft for iPhone and iPad if you have those types of devices. It's really convenient and pretty user-friendly if you already know how to set your screenplay up in the correct format.
My 2nd favorite program is WritersDuet. It's a free online screenwriting software that I've used on numerous occasions for TV-scripts that I've written.
There are many more but these are my favorites that I have found VERY useful. They even give you the opportunity to collaborate with other writers you maybe working with on the script. The dual collaboration interface gives multiple writers the ability to write, update, and edit one script all at the same time in real-time.
Hope this helps you my fellow screenwriters.

Sure, sounds like a great idea! I'll put together some guides and templates that you can refer to help keep your story organized. Please let me know anything other questions you may have about screenwriting and I can do my best to get the resource.

I absolutely love To Kill a Mockingbird Esther. Since you mentioned I think I'm going to start reading it again (smiles).
Currently, I'm reading The Power of Positive Thinking. It's pretty interesting.
