Good question! According to her website she started picking a song for each book in 2012, Hearts in Darkness was first published in 2011. But you can ask her! She's doing a live interview/Q&A on the 28th on Booktrib at 5 p.m. and a release party on FB at 6 p.m. (links in the appearances thread).
