Oh no! Arya is one of my favorite characters. Sad, sad that you don't see the strong elf who has fought her whole life through peril, against all odds to save the dragons.. she has gone through so much. It's funny how different people have different takes on the characters. Fascinating :)

Well I got that.. I guess I just didn't remember that part in Eclipse.. and I just didn't get how it related to angela. I gotchya now

***SPOILER!!!*****
I mean I was expecting galby to die in a more passive aggressive way. Because I couldn't see Paolini ending it with Eragon stabbing him through the heart or anything. I kind of liked how Eragon out-witted him and in the end, but it all ended SO FAST. It seemed like Paolini didn't spend a lot of time on that part like he rushed though the most important part of all of the books that we've all been waiting for.

I didn't like the ending.. I mean what ever, I'll work with it because I love the series so much. It was very anticlimactic. I wanted it to be EPIC. It wasn't. But the whole book was pretty epic I'd say.

yep, read it pretty much the week it came out.. I don't remember my favorite part anymore! I should probably read it again..

I don't get it

Thanks! I just finished the Hunger Games trilogy.. great great books. Loved them. I'm going to check out those other books.

Becauuuuuse when all lose ends come together in an epic way it gives you the best feeling! When ever I read a book that has mysterious loose ends through the series and the all come together in the end in an epic way it always brings a tear to my eye (but I'm emotional like that :P)
I feel like Inheritance didn't end like it should have.. if more of the loose ends came together it would give us a feeling of closure and it leaves you thoughts of how awesome it was.. not thoughts like "I want to know more" or "what the HECK was that???"

Hey there! My real name isn't Marx.. Its just a alias name that came to be one way or another. I'm lame like that too :)
Thisfan1 wrote: "I just don't understand what he was trying to do. I like many other fans read this series over the last 10 years and some point whether you admit it or not you were at least aware of eragon and ary..."Totally agree. I'm incredibly disappointed :(. I want more!

I want to find a book series that I can be equally exited about, but I feel like I can't find any that satisfies that need! Any suggestions?

when your sister asks you one question regarding the book and you end up talking for a half hour and afterward get really exited and look over and she is sleeping.

yeah, it's so stupid because so many sci-fi series have similar plots.. he may have incorporated ideas from other stories, but his own story is different and original in its own way!
Teresa wrote: "Marx wrote: "Teresa wrote: "Marx wrote: "Remember the room that Nausuada was imprisoned in Uru'baen? And Galbatrorix called it the room of the soothsayer? She was an oracle that lived there for 100..."Totally the same feeling!
Teresa wrote: "Marx wrote: "Remember the room that Nausuada was imprisoned in Uru'baen? And Galbatrorix called it the room of the soothsayer? She was an oracle that lived there for 100s of years and she "dreamed ..."Ugh, yeah, I'm so mad that he left things unanswered..
I was also kind of disappointed that the ending was not super epic. Ohh well. I feel like something is missing from my life now that I'm done reading the inheritance cycle!

Remember the room that Nausuada was imprisoned in Uru'baen? And Galbatrorix called it the room of the soothsayer? She was an oracle that lived there for 100s of years and she "dreamed all that had been and all that might be" and then she left after a time and no one knows where she went.
its on page 421 mid page.. if you have to book you should check it out and let me know what you think!

haha, yeah I think that a lot of Sci-Fi books have similar-ish plots.. the wise old man, the young ignorant man, the beautiful mysterious princes type person..
I think its funny that you posted this because I was just watching that AVATAR movie and I felt like the plots were very similar to the inheritance cycle too.. I mean they have to make those bonds with the dragon things and they speak to them with their mind.. and ya know, there are a few similarities, but that movie is also extremely sci-fi..
I think I thought the movie and the inheritance cycle were similar just because I was reading all the books over again and I pretty much related everything in life to them.. So sad hahaha

Do you guys think that Angela was/is the Soothsayer???
