189072 No, this going to by my first time reading his work. My mother says it's his best work and she seemed happy to lend me her copy. Now I'm worried it may be tooth rottingly sweet.

189072 The King in Yellow
A collection of stories by Robert William Chambers. The first four stories are about the famous King in Yellow. He would later make a return with the help of other writers and become a part of the Cthulhu Mythos, as Hastur. After that we get love stories some better than others. I felt disappointed, it start great but after the fifth it lost the supernatural elements.
189072 I second No Country for Old Men and The Neverending Story.
189072 I second Don Quixote and David Copperfield.
189072 The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, 244 pages.
189072 We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson, 146 pages.

189072 Hello! My name is Estefanía and I'm from Mexico. I started reading for fun some years ago. I love short stories, anthologies and comic books. I have been trying to catch up with the classics since a started college. However, I have this nagging feeling that I'm still quite far behind. This group might be just what a need.
