I read this in April for book club at local library. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did.

The characters were well developed. I loved the story but I didn't have as much empathy for the later characters as I did for those earlier in the story.

I learned so much more about the conflicts between Korean and Japanese people than I previously knew.

I just put a number next to each book read. I believe my count was correct.
