I'm not a big fan of fantasy, but I quite liked this story. Confused at first, until I realized we were probably being narrated by someone with a severe mental illness, maybe schizophrenia. His dual personalities were meshed at the end and he appeared to be healed, but continued to visit his "home" for comfort and peace.
Do you think he was actually imprisoned in Battersea?
