Happy Memorial Weekend!!!

we can start now and go into next month

Hey group! Just wanted to inform you all that I'm moving soon so I may be MIA. Also I'm trying to figure why I'm so tired and have no energy so I'm busy with that too. I do know it's not my thyroid so onto the next!

Hey everyone! Happy Thursday hope everyone is doing well.

Historical Fiction is the winner and the book is Mrs. Lincolns Dressmaker.
Our start date is May 1st and I will select a date to come back and discuss how far we are in it etc.

I guess Ill start this topic off with my beautiful cat Kali! Shes 11 yrs old we think and shes 5 pounds, and shes a little sh*t! Shes had some bouts of pneumonia in the past and kinda has puking issues but I love her.

Do you currently write as well? Do you have anything published? How about any friends you might have who dabble in writing.

Hello everyone! Thanks for participating so far in our discussions. I know everyone has a busy life so I understand that you may not be on here as much as you would like. I do appreciate you'll trying so please continue to stay in touch and let us know how you are doing, what you are reading, what you recommend, and play a few fun games with us!
If you have any suggestions to get this group a bit more lively let me know!

I tried the book thief but honestly wasn't my cup of tea so I gave up and moved on for now.
I love young adult and juvenile books because that was my department at my old job. so many great books are published for kids with such great meaning.
I like books that deal with self image issues that are written as fictional books but can actually be something that could happen in real life. it's quite popular with kids.

I just finished eight hundred grapes and it was really good! highly recommend.

Reading a book that you just have to share with everyone? Let us know what it is an why you recommend it.

While working at the bookstore she came into the store to sign her books we had on hand. Sadly we were sold out but she was super nice.

I got to meet her twice actually. While out driving around Chicago she was doing a signing so I stopped to hear her speak and got a book signed and a picture taken.

Who have you gotten to meet in person? How did that happen? Who would you love to see!
Comment here or start a new topic in "let's talk authors and genes" and title it "IGTM...(name)". And then tell us all about it!
