185 Tears of Tess

I haven't read it, so not sure if it's a match, but pretty sure the blurb said Mexico holiday with boyfriend, kidnapped for sex slave.
185 Thanks guys. I'll look into these ones.

That series really threw me it seems. Once I stopped reading them I remembered quite a few books I've read that were based on strong confident characters.

185 Angels' Blood & Slave to Sensation

Guild Hunter & Psy/Changeling series from Nalini Singh
185 So the basic request is menage books. Preference being mfm/mmf, but any other combo or 'participant number' is fine (as long as there's STORY, and not just we're all here, let's fuck... and fuck again).

The specific request is that the h (and/or H's) need to be from a solid emotional background. Meaning no childhood abuse, no sexual assaults, no 'no body ever loved me' characters that seem to fall into a menage relationship because they would fall into any relationship that presented itself. I guess if one of the characters had some kind of challenged background, it would be fine, but I don't want that to have any real impact on how or why they find themselves in a new type of relationship.

Reading that, it sounds a bit harsh. That's not the way I mean it. It's just I've been reading a series that has these insecure, emotionally damaged h's with absolutely NO self worth, and it made me have a think about previous characters in other books. And while these particular h's seem to have the market cornered with the 'woe is me, I'm trash, how can I say no because no one else will ever love me' cornered (no, they aren't quite that bad, but they aren't too far off), I'm struggling to remember many menage books that have solid characters who openly assess and decide, instead of the fall into just because.

When I'm making this request, I'm thinking straight reality type, not sci-fi's or paranormals etc, but if you've got a good one, feel free to throw it in.

Thanks :)
185  Throttle Me is it. Thank you Brittney & Jules.

I'm pretty sure that's it Jules. For some reason I can't find it in any of my libraries tho. Must have been deleted from my records in one of Apples sweeps :/

Thank you :)

185 Saving Wishes, not this book, but either bk2 or 3 in this series.
185 I have been meaning to look for this one for a while, but don't 'think' I have... but if I have, sorry. And there's a lot of maybe in here too. Sorry.

Electronic, iBooks. Possibly free. Read in the last two years or so. Don't think it's erotica, but def adult. Vaguely remember it might have been bk1 of a series, but might be standalone.

- I'm pretty sure the h breaks down/has a flat on the side of the road and the H pulls over to help
- H rides a bike, but may or may not be in a MC gang of any kind. Remember friends, but not any 'brothers' or biker warehouse or the usually stuff. Have a feeling he was all about 'don't judge the book by it's cover' maybe, and he's possibly a business owner (maybe the mechanics that fix the car, but that just may be his friends place)
- think the h is dressed to the max for a girls night out, so tiny dress and I remember something about electric blue skyscraper heels, and the H is really impressed with what he sees... but I may be remember the electric blue heels from elsewhere. (maybe the friend she was going to meet had to cancel, but h was already out, or decided to go out anyway)
- I think he can't fix the car, so calls a friend of his to come tow the car. Either 'just while they wait' or 'on the way home' he convinces her to go to a near by bar. Think it's his 'local' but is pretty rough, so she's always thought of going, or had just passed it and debated going, but decided to give it a miss.
- obviously h&H start going out, so think they end up going back to this bar a few times, and I remember them meeting with his friends a couple of times, but not sure if it's the first visit or not. The friends are all very rough, but good guys. Possibly if this book is a series, other books would be about them.
- it's a rough place, and think she gets 'forcefully' hit on by another customer when she heads to the bar (possible the H tried to talk her out of going to the bar alone). Pretty sure he's a regular and known to the H & his mates, but not a friend in any capacity. Think his view on the world is she has tits and is present, so of course it's fine for him to take what she's obviously gagging for, even when she's saying no. The H or his friend step in and tell the guy to f'off, and he's all 'she wanted it, what do you expect if your not standing guard over her etc'. Think he tries his luck on her during another visit to the bar too.
- possibly there's a woman who's either a psycho ex, previous ONS, or maybe she's just someone who set her sights on the H, and now won't take the hint that he is either never going there, or is never going back. Pretty sure she tries to make trouble for h&H whenever possible. Don't remember the h having any flip outs over it tho, or the H doing anything other than brushing the woman off.

185 You Don't Know Me (view spoiler)

Triple Dare(view spoiler). There's another surprise sibling in another family earlier in this series, but they all find out at 13 when when she comes to live with them. All the books are set in the adult lives tho.

One for the Money
185 To late... But this is Heller. Tilly's a bodyguard.
185 Interesting
185 The House on Burra Burra Lane
Getting Out of Hand

Neither were favorites for me, but it wasn't because of the beta H's.

At the bottom of the Implotion page, there's a thread about forced breeding books... Might find your book in there... Maybe?

LMAO. Well said JAB.

In these kind of books, I've always thought they'd be better to target the males anyway, but then, if they wiped out the females, but a few survived, it's still a slow population growth potential. But if they targeted the males and a few slipped thru, well, with all the free womb space running around, there's a chance of a fairly speedy baby boom.

Doesn't that just suck for team XX :/
