185 Maybe take a look through this list? https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8...
185 Could it have been from the Two by Two series? They were teen romances from the 1980s that told the story from both the boy and girl's perspectives.

If not, you can look through these lists:
1980s teen romance: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8...
1990s teen romance: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8...
185 The Amazing Mr Blunden (aka The Ghosts)? I believe it was turned into a made-for-tv movie

185 This probably isn't it, but Princess Academy by Shannon Hale involves singing magic and a school.
185 Do you remember more details? Like where/when they went in time?

185 The Great Good Thing by Roderick Townley. The sequel to that is called Into the Labyrinth.

ETA: I added links, since I posted this on my phone earlier.

I wonder if The Great Good Thing is the most searched-for book in this group! haha
185 I'm not sure what it is, but it sounds interesting! :] How new do you think the book was when you read it?
185 You're welcome! I'm really interested in vintage timeslip stories, haha.

185 Could it be The Glass Maker's Daughter?

Weird that The Glass Maker's Daughter & Storm Glass came out within one month of each other...

ETA: There's also The Glass Swallow
185 Phil wrote: "Interesting - don't know the book, but I just began listening to The Turning which has a similar theme (high school guy takes care of man's orphaned niece and nephew in a haunted ho..."

Yeah, Phil, a lot of books have that theme because they're inspired by The Turn of the Screw :]
