185 Joanne is still looking for this book:

"Romance book, possibly Mills & Boon from the 90’s

I can’t remember the cover. I remember the story starting with a woman waking up in a bed not her own with no memory how she got there but wakes up with a guy and has no clue who she is. It turns out she was drugged and kidnapped off the street I can’t remember if by drug cartel or whoever the villain is just because she was his type. She had been purposely dressed up in a tight dress with blonde extensions put in her hair (I remember reading specific bits where she was getting annoyed with her hair falling out everywhere and wondering who changed her hair) and the night she escaped from this villan she was drugged up on purpose by not her own doing. She bumps into this guy after escaping who thought her just intoxicated and he relents and lets her sleep it off at his place when she begs him for help. They eventually become romantically involved while he helps her get her memory back. I can’t remember if he’s a cop off duty or a PI maybe?? Read it in the 90’s."

185 Atiya, can you tell us more about the main characters (e.g., their jobs, location/country, rich/poor, marital status, etc.).

Light editing of the topic header. Feel free to edit it.
185 Megan, I removed the spoiler from the topic header and added a spoiler alert. Feel free to edit it.

Did you read the book around late 1980s/early 1990s - or is that when you think it was published?

185 Good news Bible: Today's English version? There are different covers. Some copies on eBay show a few inside illustrations.
185 Update from Mohammed:

"Title: Unknown (UK or international youth football book)
Description: I’m trying to find a children’s/young teen football book I read around 10–15 years ago.

Main character: A talented youth outfield footballer.

Plot point: He suffers a severe injury that makes him stop playing for a while.

Key scene: Someone persuades him to play one game as a goalkeeper to show him his injury isn’t as bad as he thinks. During this game, he shows exceptional speed and skill.

Outcome: Realizes he can play again and returns to football as an outfield player (he never plays as goalkeeper again).

Other details: Beyond this, I don’t remember much—just that it was a sports/football-focused book for young teens.

Timeframe: Likely published before ~2015."
