I can't believe I forgot to write when I finished the book! I loved Alice and Oliver, they were such awesome friends and I really love the whole world and the different abilities!

I have finished this one too! This was my first magical realism read and I am thrilled with it! This is thought-provoking and poignant, set over an extended period of time in the first half of the 20th century.

And I finished it! I really loved it and the ending had be flipping the pages so quickly out of terror. I love all the complicated world and character stuff that goes on in this book and I can't wait to get hold of the next book in the series.
