Yup! Lol. Have you read any of her other books?

All done just haven't had time to post. Oh my gosh. This book! I kept second guessing myself the whole entire time I was reading this! But not once did I suspect "The Wife" 😮 !! And the ending about Trisha... Man. Heartless. I get her instinct to survive, but I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around it.

Me too. I had the dad beg as the bad guy.

Sounds good 😉

Yeah I didn't get a
Gone Girl vibe either. Like you said it was unique on its own. I really thought she was crazy and was making most of it up. Especially, after I found out about her family. But did not expect the kid at all 😮!

Is anyone planning to read this and join the BR?

The perfect family... or the perfect lie?
When a child’s scream pierces the night, Mira does what any good neighbour would do: she calls the police. She wants to make sure that Rosie, the little girl next door, is safe.
Opening her front door to the police the next morning, Gemma’s picture-perfect family is forced under scrutiny of social services.
As her flawless life begins to crumble around her, Gemma must fight to defend the family she loves and protect her daughter from the terrible secret she’s been keeping.
But who has Rosie been confiding in when Gemma’s back is turned? And why has she lied to the police?
When Rosie disappears without a trace, Gemma thinks she only has herself to blame. That is, until she finds a little pink diary containing a truth even more devastating than the lie…

Yeah super slow start, but once it picks up its gets good.

The first day I started this I got to around 30%, unfortunately I had to take an unwanted reading break or I'd be done already. It was getting really good, so picking this back up and hoping I can knock it out on my 2 hour ride out of town for the weekend.

I can't believe I forgot to post after I finished this. First I must say it takes some time for this story to warm up and for the twists to hit, but once they do it hard to put down. So please stick with it because I was extremely surprised with how much I liked it. Plus the ending was a total shocker-- which I love when its not obvious or easily figured out!

Starting this now!!

When you read this book, you will make many assumptions.
You will assume you are reading about a jealous ex-wife. You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement – a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love. You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle.
Assume nothing.
Twisted and deliciously chilling, Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen's The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage - and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.
Read between the lies.

His scandal. Her secret.
When Angela met Jason Powell while catering a dinner party in East Hampton, she assumed their romance would be a short-lived fling, like so many relationships between locals and summer visitors. To her surprise, Jason, a brilliant economics professor at NYU, had other plans, and they married the following summer. For Angela, the marriage turned out to be a chance to reboot her life. She and her son were finally able to move out of her mother’s home to Manhattan, where no one knew about her tragic past.
Six years later, thanks to a bestselling book and a growing media career, Jason has become a cultural lightning rod, placing Angela near the spotlight she worked so carefully to avoid. When a college intern makes an accusation against Jason, and another woman, Kerry Lynch, comes forward with an even more troubling allegation, their perfect life begins to unravel. Jason insists he is innocent, and Angela believes him. But when Kerry disappears, Angela is forced to take a closer look at the man she married. And when she is asked to defend Jason in court, she realizes that her loyalty to her husband could unearth old secrets.

How far did you make it?
I picked this up this morning and I'm about 44% I think chapter 42 and its finally hit a twist. Jane.
(view spoiler)[Who is she? Is she real or imagined? Was she really stabbed? Who is this new Jane? What the hell is going on with the Russells? Or is Anna a nut job and was all that a hallucination? (hide spoiler)] Okay, I'm somewhat intrigued. Off to find out more.

All done and what a series! I liked this so much more than I thought I would after the first 2 books. And the ending I was somewhat expecting, but what really shocked me was him setting up kills for her. What?! Not at all how I expected Logan to be. I really liked this author too, was not expecting this story to be as good as it was the book covers don't do the story justice.
