Oh no! I had high hopes for this one. That sucks it didn't work for you guys. I was planning to start tonight, but now I'm thinking I might put off til this weekend and sneak in another book that's been calling my name.

I can wait for you Kate, since I already behind on several books, plus we still need to finish
.

So I just realised last night while surfing GR that I never marked this read or came back to this post 😕😶. I finished this forever ago it seems like.

I literally just finished this! I
really enjoyed this one. I knew it would make me think, but man I didn't expect to lay in bed at night contemplating this book. I will say I felt a connection to Simon and Klara right off the back and soon Daniel a few pages into his part, but I really struggled on V's part. Until Luke came into it did it finally make her human for me. And then came the tears, I think her story was the saddest. To experience the loss of so many family members and have OCD it really made her shelter herself from life. She might have lived the longest, but she never really LIVED. I'm glad in the end she was making changes to rectify that. Bottom line for me: We're not meant to live forever nor are we suppose to know how or when we leave this world. Best advice I ever got what to live in the moment because tomorrow is never promised.

I add a few a day just from what I see on my Goodreads feed, I couldn't even imagine how many if I worked in a library.

No Spoilers!
My name is Amber Reynolds. There are three things you should know about me:
1. I’m in a coma.
2. My husband doesn’t love me anymore.
3. Sometimes I lie.
Amber wakes up in a hospital. She can’t move. She can’t speak. She can’t open her eyes. She can hear everyone around her, but they have no idea. Amber doesn’t remember what happened, but she has a suspicion her husband had something to do with it. Alternating between her paralyzed present, the week before her accident, and a series of childhood diaries from twenty years ago, this brilliant psychological thriller asks: Is something really a lie if you believe it's the truth?

A young British couple are driving through France on holiday when they stop for gas. He runs in to pay, she stays in the car. When he returns her car door has been left open, but she's not inside. No one ever sees her again.
Ten years later he's engaged to be married; he's happy, and his past is only a tiny part his life now. Until he comes home from work and finds his new wife-to-be is sitting on their sofa. She's turning something over in her fingers, holding it up to the light. Something that would have no worth to anyone else, something only he and she would know about because his wife is the sister of his missing first love.
As more and more questions are raised, their marriage becomes strained. Has his first love somehow come back to him after all this time? Or is the person who took her playing games with his mind?

My name is Elizabeth Anne Hawksmith, and my age is three hundred and eighty-four years. Each new settlement asks for a new journal, and so this Book of Shadows begins.
In the spring of 1628, the Witchfinder of Wessex finds himself a true Witch. As Bess Hawksmith watches her mother swing from the Hanging Tree she knows that only one man can save her from the same fate at the hands of the panicked mob: the Warlock Gideon Masters, and his Book of Shadows. Secluded at his cottage in the woods, Gideon instructs Bess in the Craft, awakening formidable powers she didn't know she had and making her immortal. She couldn't have foreseen that even now, centuries later, he would be hunting her across time, determined to claim payment for saving her life.
In present-day England, Elizabeth has built a quiet life for herself, tending her garden and selling herbs and oils at the local farmers' market. But her solitude abruptly ends when a teenage girl called Tegan starts hanging around. Against her better judgment, Elizabeth begins teaching Tegan the ways of the Hedge Witch, in the process awakening memories—and demons—long thought forgotten.
Part historical romance, part modern fantasy, The Witch’s Daughter is a fresh, compelling take on the magical, yet dangerous world of Witches. Readers will long remember the fiercely independent heroine who survives plagues, wars, and the heartbreak that comes with immortality to remain true to herself, and protect the protégé she comes to love.

Made halfway!!!! Hoping to knock the rest out tonight or tomorrow!!
