Sorry. I'm just seeing this now. I think we'll say the Bible as a whole counts, but not the individual "books."

178660 What are you using as a bookmark right now?

I currently have a beautiful Lithuanian-made metal bookmark in my non-fic book, and some copied papers with maps and pronunciation guides in my fiction book.

178660 Do you read the majority of your books on an e-reader or in hardcopy? Why?

My ratio is probably pretty evenly split. Most of my fiction books of late have been e-books, while the non-fic have been hardcopies.

178660 Hmm. I haven't been reading too much myself that's light these days. Lots of 700+ page books. :p

Anyone else?

178660 How many books are you "in the middle of" right now?

My answer: Three for me right now.

Perchance to Dream by Lisa Mantev
Scotland by Magnus Magnusson
The Mystery of Providence by John Flavel

178660 Hmm. If you're re-reading it within the same year, I don't think Goodreads will show that.

178660 What's your favorite thing about the book you're currently reading?

I'm still working Somerset Maugham's Of Human Bondage. For as long as it is (800 pages), the thing I appreciate most is the sprightly pacing.

I think I have a new goal in life: ruining readers. ;)

178660 Do you ever put off reading a big book simply because it's so big?

My answer: I love big books, but I always gulp a little bit when starting a big one. Just started Maugham's 700-page tome Of Human Bondage. Little trepidation there at the start, but it's turned out to sustain its length quite well so far.

178660 How many pages in the book you're currently reading (or how many hours does your e-reader say it will take to finish)?

I just started To Darkness Fled by Jill Williamson. My Kindle says it will take me about eight hours. I believe the paperback is 540 pages.

178660 Yep, yep. I'm with Jeffrey on this.

Yep. Ditto this! :)

178660 Do you have a special chair or spot where you prefer to read?

My designated reading spot is my great big comfy chair full of pillows.

I sneak in 90 minutes most evenings.

178660 Aww, you just made my day. I have to admit Behold the Dawn is probably my favorite of all my stories. I always get warm fuzzies when someone likes it. ;)

178660 Yikes! The most I've managed in a year is, I think, around 160.
178660 Welcome to February! We're officially 1/12th of the way into our reading challenge. How are you all doing?

I've read 8 books so far, so a little shy of staying on track for 100 books. *gulp*

178660 What is your all-time favorite book? Will you be re-reading it this year?

My answer: Brent Weeks's Night Angel trilogy is right up there at the top for me right now.
