The prompt I'm using is a book written by two or more authors. I have a series I read written by a duo (
Brian Andrews and
Jeffrey Wilson), and they have a new book (
Dempsey) coming next year.

I have a few in mind if I choose this prompt:
This Year It Will Be Different, and other stories by Maeve Binchy
In the Woods by Tana Frenc..."I loved In the Woods. Highly recommend.

I adore series. I have over 20 authors with new releases coming in 2023 so I have a ton to choose from. Some of their books have already been announced and I'm using those for other prompts. Right now, I have the new Mitch Rapp book by
Kyle Mills marked for this one. No word on the book title or storyline yet since it won't be released until around September.
What can I say? I'm a planner.

A book that features a festival, holiday, or celebration

New books on sale include:
The Winners - it's not even out ..."For magical realism, there is
Midnight at the Blackbird Café. It would match the birds and the bees prompt.
For future scifi, look at
Red Rising. It would match several: debut novel, murder, spy.

One of my favorite authors is
C.J. Box, whose main character is a present-day game warden in Wyoming. No mistreatment of indigenous people. He's solving crimes in his territory so if you like a great crime novel in a western setting, check him out. Box won the 2016 Western Heritage Award for Literature by the National Cowboy Museum and the Spur Award for Best Contemporary Novel by the Western Writers of America in 2017.

I will second a book related to the arts.

For the King Tut prompt, it doesn't have to be something about Egypt. He reigned from age 9 to 19 or so it could be a book where a child is a leader. For those who love spooky Halloween books, it could be a book set in or near a graveyard or that geatures a burial. It could be book with characters who are archeologists. It could be a book about a museum or set in one.
