174195 So I'm reading Rules of Civility by Amor Towles and realized that one of the main characters is named Tinker. If you want to be take this prompt very literally lol.
174195 I read Over the Top: A Raw Journey to Self-Love for this category!

I don't seek out LGBTQIA themed books and really enjoyed this prompt!

174195 Hi all,

I just started an Instagram inspired by this group, chronicling the books I read every week! I didn't realize there was a hashtag for it, so will start incorporating it (and will start following it)!

Feel free to follow, and if you DM me I can follow you back :)

174195 Doing pretty well with January, although I have to say I cheated as 3 of the books I started in 2019... but I consider a book I finished in 2020 to be the "first" books of the new year!

I like to read out of order, and so I don't feel too restricted sometimes I like to pick books for whatever reason and then fit them into a category later on. Easier categories (like #10: a book between 400-600 pages) can always have books retroactively fitted in later!

#28: A book by an Australian, Canadian, or New Zealand author:
The Testaments (The Handmaid's Tale, #2) by Margaret Atwood

#16: A book set in a rural or sparsely populated area:
The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair by Joël Dicker

#51: A book with an -ing word in the title:
Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman

#8: Two-word title where the first word is "the":
The Scholar (Cormac Reilly, #2) by Dervla McTiernan

#18: A book by an author you've only read once before:
Shades of Grey (Shades of Grey, #1) by Jasper Fforde

#23: A book featuring an LGBTQIA+ character or by an LGBTQIA+ author:
Over the Top A Raw Journey to Self-Love by Jonathan Van Ness

174195 I also created a new Bookstagram chronicling my ATY progress:

174195 Hi everyone, my name is Joan and I live in Boston. I'm a physician (currently in hematology/oncology fellowship) but love to read whenever I get the chance. I mostly like speculative fiction, but try to read diversely since I love being surprised by a book in a different genre. That's why I actually started this challenge a few years back, since it helped me find books outside my comfort zone.

I've actually been doing this challenge for a few years now, but this year I'm trying to share my challenge with others! Here's my Instagram chronicling my book picks per week, feel free to follow if it at all strikes your fancy!

Otherwise excited to count down 2020 with everyone, and if you have a book instagram you'd like me to follow just DM me!

174195 1. Crooked, by Austin GrossmanCrooked
2. Isn't Nixon the ultimate anti-hero?
3. Found it myself
4. Generally prefer the antiheroes to the "heroes," although better yet if it's hard to tell who the heroes/antiheroes are. Game of Thrones, Vicious come to mind.
