There are many different ways you could go with this prompt: this could be a book involving cats, dogs, or torrential rain, or it could relate to the whole phrase - such as a book about idioms, a book with the concept in the title or cover, or a creative interpretation.

What are you reading for this prompt, and how long has it been on your TBR?

I just checked out Big Swiss from the library! Since I'm planning on reading in order, I'll likely pick a book from the 2024 list, so no planning for me for this one, just yet.

That's impressive, Bec! I have trouble reading ARCs unless they are books I'm already interested in reading. Getting into NetGalley might be my retirement hobby, but right now I don't have enough time to read the books I want to read AND new releases I haven't heard of.

The only book I own that fits this prompt is 56 Days, which I got in a Christmas swap last year so it's about time I read it.

What are you reading for this prompt? How did you decide?

Both will be other, I think, since neither require it to be a major part of the plot.

I also have Migrations on my list, but there are harder prompts I have it slotted for (wild animal or air/sea, but probably wild animal).

Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone was so so good. Hilarious but also a murder mystery. I enjoyed it so much. (It would also, in my opinion, count as a cozy mystery)

I appreciate the breakdown, LeahS. I have had We Need New Names on my TBR for a while, but I hadn't looked into her background.

Last week, we read a book with only one word in the title. But sometimes, you just have more to say! This week, we are finding books with extra long titles - 6 words or more.

You can count subtitles if you'd like, or you can go for the extra challenge of only using the primary title!

dalex, Take My Hand is phenomenal. Such an impactful and infuriating book.

I think I'll wait until December to decide what my favorite prompt was that I want to repeat, but I have a feeling it will be this one lol.

I'm hesitant to add more tabs, but the 2024 Rejects tab will be cleared out in January and used for tracking reject reads, so you could add your books there.

I love this idea! I can't commit to it (I'm already nervous about committing to the main challenge in order), but I love the thought!
