Chain-Gang All-Stars (GR Choice Awards)
Week 4: What a Wonderful World -
What You Are Looking For Is in the LibraryWeek 5: 25 Most Beautiful Cities -
The Shamshine Blind (San Fran)

pst. I've added the 2024 tabs for the main ATY challenge, if anyone wants to go claim their column! Merry Christmas to those that are celebrating!

Welcome Keli!
The books on the listopias and weekly threads for each prompt serve as inspiration. You're welcome to read any book that you think fits the prompt, and feel free to add inspiration for others!

Jackie, today is my last day of work until January 5th and I am very, very excited lol.
Kendra, I have the same problem!! I even have some out from the library already, just waiting...

Anyone else feel the pressure to read all the books right now but also feel like life is SO BUSY that you really have no time?
Meanwhile I'm posting on here instead of reading...

I had the same problem, Pam. I ended up checking out 8 books from the library that I all plan on reading in January or February. There's not a long line on the February ones I want to read so I'm hoping those holds get filled with other copies and I can renew without penalty.

I’m starting American Mermaid next so I’m glad to hear that! The cover is so pretty.

Oof I just read
Dayswork and man, it was BORING. Maybe it's because I haven't read anything by Melville but... it's not great when I DNF a 250 page book lol

Welcome Darcy!

Oh thanks Ciara... I'll save it to read then.

Great job Tanu! Glad you had a great experience for your first time!
I've slotted in James and the Giant Peach for snack on cover and In the Lives of Puppets for word with 7+ letters. That, combined with my finish of Dayswork, means we have completed Gold Level!!

Hey y'all! I started reading
Dayswork last night before I fell asleep. It will be a super quick book and we can use it for the 0 in the page number!

Hi Laura! You can generally check this folder for more information on each prompt:
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...If you go to the thread for Week 3, you'll find a link to the list of suggestions that didn't make the cut. For the Five Books list, it is referencing
www.fivebooks.com!

I've finished
A Curse So Dark and Lonely! I hope we can finish Gold Level by the end of the read-a-thon!

I finished
Yours Truly and slotted it in for heroes (both main characters are ER doctors), but it also has a red cover so I can move it if someone has a hero book that fits.
Still working on
A Curse So Dark and Lonely, but hoping to finish today. If I do, it would work perfectly for the disability prompt (main character has cerebral palsy) but it fits a bunch of other prompts too.

Hey Laura! We encourage people to tackle the challenge however fits their reading and lifestyle. Some people opt to take on just the first half of the list, or handpick the prompts that work for them, or to stretch the prompts very far to work for what they want to read.

Hey Team Snowflakes! I've unlocked the Platinum Level for you! Happy reading!

Done!

Hey Team Tacky Sweaters! I've updated the first post in this thread to include the Platinum Level prompts! Your spreadsheet will be updated shortly. Happy reading!

Rachel, I had the same experience when I read Puppets. It's such a bummer.
I'm definitely going to finish Yours Truly today, so I'll take a look at the gold prompts to see what it fits!
