We've all done it. We find a new author we love, read a five star book, and then... never pick up the author again. Maybe it's a new series that we start before it's finished, and we haven't quite gotten around to reading that last book. Maybe it's a new book by a favorite author that you pre-ordered but it's been sitting on your shelf for months (just me? no?).

This week, we are using a prompt as an excuse to finally pick up that author again.

No, we won't have any more polls after this one. The one that didn't make it will be listed as a Close Call for the poll!

MJ, don't wake up too early haha! I have a gala tonight with my husband so I definitely won't be posting at 5:30 in the morning! It will likely be when I get to work around 8 or 8:30 (just to set expectations lol)

If we had room for three, we would definitely have all three getting in!

If it weren't a literal tie right now, I absolutely would close it early, I promise. I can't stop myself from posting weekly threads because I'm itching to be done lol

What are you reading for this prompt, and how does it fit?

It's still pretty close between two prompts... otherwise I definitely would! The good news is that both prompts will slot in the spot I have left open so I've got the whole list order ready to go, as soon as we finalize that last prompt.

We typically direct people to the monthly threads for that kinda thing! We've tried just having one thread that stayed up year round but it never got the traction that Wild Discussion did, and we got more chatting with the monthly threads (though they also tend to die during voting season).

Yes, what Jillian said is correct. And it's likely that people are adding those notes as a way to remember which ones they want to read/why they want to read them to distinguish them from helping Jackie with the book adding.
