Your call. My thinking was that you could fill it early (like you could fill spot 20 before spot 19), but you needed to fill it before moving forward (so you would have to fill spot 20 before going to spot 21).
However, if that holds up your group or makes this frustrating, then y’all can decide as a team that as long as someone has a book in progress for that spot, you can skip it and come back to it. I won’t be the challenge police on this one, and it’s not a competition, so do whatever makes this fun for your group.
I would definitely say you shouldn't skip more than one though (so you need to fill spot 20 before you get to spot 30).

I'll fill one in for NancyJ
TPBM recommends a short (less than 250 pages) book

Let's use it for TPBM Fee! I think those will be harder to fill than the regular questions.
Ira, what about the hobby question? lol

Yes, unlike most read-a-thons, the goal isn’t necessarily to check every (question) box, it’s to get to know each other. So we don’t want the same person answering the same question, but group members can all answer a question once each (so 8 answers to the same question).
As for page count, go with the format that you read!

Susan, you can join Thelma & Louise!

Yes! Any pages read counts on your tracking and towards Wild Cards. Yesterday I read 25 pages of a book and DNF'd but I earned those 25 pages lol
A Deadly EducationTPBM recommends a love story

It's meant to be used for read-a-thon tracking, ideally for the individual challenge, but you can include your personal reading (team or individual) if you'd like. I figured it was easier to have one tracking thread instead of two.

The way I squealed when I saw this was back!!
March 1 - 128 + 135 = 263 pages

Absolutely! You can sign up in this thread:

Shelby, you can join Shaggy & Scooby!
The Otherwhere Post (published last week!)
TPBM recommends a book with a majority yellow cover

I think it could work as a multiweek prompt with a bit of expansion - same word in title (rather than the exact same title) could work better and allow more flexibility.

Great work team! We've answered five questions and have zero wild cards yet - don't forget to log your pages and hours!
Anyone have a TPBM book in progress? or coming up soon?

Caitie, Anthropocene is great!

I've finished another book (I swear I'm not a fast reader, these were just almost complete when the day started).
Question: How do you show kindness to others?
Book:
The Rom-CommersAnswer: Caring for them when they are sick! In the book, the main character takes care of her father after he has a camping accident.

Happy March!
Use this thread to discuss your plans and your triumphs for March reading!

Oh great Joyce!
I'm seeing
Lula Dean's Little Library of Banned Books on the list, and that is my book club's pick of the month so I'll definitely be reading it as soon as my library hold comes through (I'm next in line). Hopefully that's this week and we can use it!
