168598 Borealis began humming a sad tune to himself.
Aug 08, 2015 11:02AM

168598 "No way! I gotta stay here to see if you need me! I'd be a disgrace to my kingdom if I just bailed now! It's bad enough I'm letting you do all the fighting for me, anyway! You're a girl, for peat's sake! Have you ever heard of a Knightess in shiny armor? I mean, really! This kind of thing is my job, but Noooooooooooooooo I just have to mope around in the corner while you do all the work..." Borealis realized while he was talking she wasn't listening, so he went back to sulking, picking at his boots.

168598 ((Oh, sorry I didn't see this! Sorry!))

Jay shrugged. "I dunno...Dad wouldn't exactly strike me as that kind of guy. He mostly just mopes around, shoots arrows every once in a while...he's kind of depressed all the time. I think I'd drop dead if I saw gray-haired Dad pulling any of that stuff off..."

168598 ((XD same))

"But you just stabbed her! She's gonna hate you more than she already hates me!" Borealis hissed back, but she didn't seem to hear. He stayed, sulking, but determined to come to her rescue when she 'finally came her to senses...of course she's gonna need me...'

168598 ((XD I don't even know anymore, he has more experience with male dragons I guess, not with dragons with eggs))

Borealis ran toward her, barely missing another shoot of fire, but he got there.

168598 Borealis stopped in his tracks, looking guilty and embarrassed. He slowly, carefully put the giant egg back in the nest and just barely caught Farah rolling her eyes and shaking her head in exasperation before a huge burst of flames singed his left ear and he was forced to roll away again.
Aug 08, 2015 10:00AM

168598 Borealis looked around frantically, finally spotting a huge nest in the far corner of the room. Of what he could see there were still a bunch of huge eggs, unhatched, in the nest, but....was that... "FARAH ONE'S CRACKED, I THINK...YEAH THE SHELL IS CRACKED IS THAT A BAD THING?"

168598 "HOW THE HECK WAS I ON HER EGGS? I WAS STANDING ON A BLASTING SPOT FOR PEAT'S SAKE!" Borealis was nearly at his sword...only a few more feet..

168598 "WHAT HAPPENED TO DRAGONS ARE SWEET LITTLE BABIES, HUH?" Borealis yelled, attempting an army crawl to his own sword.

168598 Jay's face lit up. "You were robbing people? Like, you and Dad? But how? I mean, I just can't imagine Dad robbing anybody..."

168598 Jay ignored her last comment, and went back to the beginning. "If you remember me, but I don't remember you...I must have been really young when you....why did you leave, anyway?"

168598 ((:( Oh I'm sorry to hear that...))

"Do you really think we're siblings? Like, long lost siblings?" He asked, curious. "Because as much as it seems fake, it would be kind of cool..."

168598 Jay shook his head, and pulled his bow back up. But, his mind was whirling, and soon he had to put it down. A sister? How... He finally resolved to ask Dad in a little while...But he couldn't wait...He glanced over at the girl walking away.

"Wait!" He called, running after her.

168598 "YOU EVIL DRAGON, TAKE THAT! AND THAT!" The lunges and lashes Borealis was thrusting at the huge dragon hardly scratched its hide, and definitely made it ten times madder, it shot a huge burst of flame and Borealis was forced to duck and roll out of the way. He lost his sword while rolling, and now was at least three yards from his weapon.

168598 Borealis heard her yell, and immediately switched to default knight mode. "STAY BACK, FAIR PRINCESS! I WILL SAVE YOU! YAH! YAH!" The 'yah yah' was Borealis lashing out with his sword at the dragon, which only made it madder. It was a huge dragon, with flaming red scales and black coals for eyes. They glittered with hate and revenge, and Borealis had a feeling this dragon was looking forward to burning him to a crisp then eating his remains, not because it was terribly hungry, but for the fun of it.

168598 ((XDXD I dunno but it is a pretty big dragon))

Borealis glanced down, then bent to a crouch, looking at the floor. It was stone, smooth, yet cracked in some places, and right beneath where Borealis was standing, it was completely black, just in a circle around his feet, as if some ancient dragon had blasted a poor soul decades ago on this very spot... But Borealis looked closer and saw there was a little pile of ashes and soot beneath his feet, in the center of the blackened floor, and suspicions were just beginning to prick into his mind when with a roar and a thump, the floor seconds before Borealis had been standing on was now burning with temporary fire. The thump had been him, rolling away to safety, and the roar had been a sixty foot dragon rearing up from behind him. It must have been hiding in one of the niches beside the tunnel entrance, but now the entrence was completely blocked by it's outraged shape.

168598 ((Omg I like had to read that question twice, it was confusing, XD))

Borealis was looking around an enormous cave, and at the far end he could just see some huge, thick bars, and a blasted lock. It was a big lock, at least twice the size of his own head. Of what he could see, the cage took up a whole half of the cavern, and a huge door was swinging open. "Huh..." Borealis murmured, creeping farther into the cavern. "That's odd...I wonder if this is some sort of old dragon cell....must have been a big dragon..."

168598 After a while again, Borealis grew bored. He got up, and decided to go exploring down the tunnels. He passed Farah and her dragons, and continued down the tunnel. After a while he came across a fork in the tunnel, it split into to other tunnels. He chose the left one, and after a little while he came to a dead end. But, before grumbling and turning around, he spotted a small door in the wall. He bent down, tried it, and found it unlocked. Unlocked, but slightly stuck, so it took him a little coaxing, but he got it open. Curious, he stumbled down this smaller tunnel, until it widened out into a huge cavern. "Woah..." Borealis said.

168598 Borealis grumbled and turned around again, back to Farah and the dragons.

168598 Borealis sighed and whispered, "Shouldn't we be going? I mean I thought we were coming in here to find a dragon to fight!"
