((Right))
Elmon stood with her and nodded. "C'mon, let's go."
((You post first?))

((Ikr! He's so fun to rp))
(Got it!))
"Oh..." Borealis was slightly embarrassed at his misunderstandment, but took the ball and got ready to throw it. He tried to do it like Darley had, but when he tried to swing his arm back with the ball attached and walk forward at the same time, he lost track of his hand and the ball slipped out, flying backwards to roll to a halt just shy of the wall. "Oh, apologies! Apologies, lovely peasants, apologies!" Borealis said, waving his hand in the direction of the staring crowd.

Borealis was actually going to go over and apologize profusely to the children in hats when Darley told him to, but when she then said she had only meant it as a joke, he vaguely understood. Darley seemed to do those a lot - jokes. Borealis wasn't entirely familiar with them, but he was getting better.
He watched as she picked up her own ball and perfectly executed the
correct way to bowl. But when she knocked all the pins down, Borealis jumped in alarm. He turned to Darley, eyes wide with concern. "Oh, dear want me to go pick those up? Here let me- sorry, I'm sure you'll get it next time, I'm sure you will, Darley, don't worry - hey, where'd the pins go? And the ball? Darley they disappeared! Darley, where..." But he trailed off when he saw Darley's expression.

((Yay! Awesome! XD poor Borealis))
Borealis looked around and said innocently to Darley, "Erm, what do you mean? Yeah I'm perfectly fine, c'mon just let's get this browling thing over with ((And I purposely misspelled 'bowling', it wasn't an accident XD)). How do I do it, like this?" And he flung the ball vaguely in the direction of the pins, but it ended up crashing down three rows down and scaring the pants off a few little kids in birthday hats. (Not literally, thank goodness).

Harper tried protesting against the necklace, but after it touched her fingers she was mesmerized. The beauty of such a simple necklace overtook her faster then you could say "Peter Piper picked a peck of!" Normally, Harper didn't care much for jewelry and rings and such, but this necklace was
different somehow... It was
magical, Harper could feel it coursing through her fingertips, whispering to her and egging to to do something,
anything using her magic, and in her excitement, her hair went from orang-y red to a bright purple to a light, sunny yellow in an instant, and a broad smile was plastered on Harper's face. She wasn't really listening to Dae and Jack now, just blissfully taking in the warmth and the tingly sensation the necklace was giving off.

((I was secretly thinking that, haha, you wanna do it, like after the bowling and the next day he wakes up to find it?))
Borealis was just about to answer, when he heard a familiar voice. Upon looking around, he saw Farah walking in, talking on a phone about something he juuuuust couldn't make out. "Hello, Farah, miss!" Borealis said automatically, and immediately clicked his heels together and tried to bow, but ended up losing his footing and nearly toppling over. He straightened up, red-faced and embarrassed. It had been just a reflex to say both 'miss' and click his heels together, and he'd also forgotten he hadn't the right shoes on, either. He was sure Darley was stifling laughter behind him, it was her or the THOUSANDS of other people he'd just humiliated King Phillip's throne in front of.
In reality there were about ten people who were close enough to have seen the incident, and most of them didn't really care what had happened to the weirdo in the fancy wear, and just went back to bowling. But Borealis had a bit of an active imagination.

((Hi Quinn!!))

Borealis hesitated, then shook his head. "A prince must be prepared for every occasion." He recited, then added, "And that means no rolling up of sleeves. What if the King of Denmark suddenly came in here and here I was, heir to the throne of King Phillip with wrinkled sleeves? How would that look on my family's image? No, no I'll manage."
((I had an idea - what if like somebody at camp stole or hid all of his jackets and like 'proper prince clothes' so he had to borrow like jeans and a t-shirt, then he'll learn to come out of his shell more and like idk learn stuffs XD Thoughts?))

"Sheesh...that's a lot of stuff..." Harper said, trying to ignore Jack and Dae's comments ("
They were joking
, Harper!") on chopping of fingers. "But I don't think I can take your mother's necklace- and I REALLY don't think the stealing idea is a g-..." Harper trailed off. When she really thought about it, it might be better to do what these girls said, after all, both were kids of pre-tty darn bad villains, and she did NOT want to get on their bad sides.
"Okay," Harper sighed. "I'll do it."

Borealis muttered something under his breath, something about the only reason he was taking this was because of his
injuries, but took the ball nonetheless. Some of what he said
was true, though. The blisters covering his arms (hidden by his usual long sleeve jacket) had lessened in the pain after a trip or two to the doctor's office, but they were still pretty red and raw. In a week or so, said the Doc, his skin was going to get all dry and flaky, as the dead skin had to come off, and not to worry about it. Borealis wasn't looking forward to it, mostly because he was a bit squeamish about his skin coming off in 'big sheets' as he put it (which was entirely untrue, but there you go), but he also was already looking forward to being able to move his arms without wincing slightly whenever the cloth on his sleeves scratched up against his skin. Doc had told him he'd feel better if he just wore a short sleeve shirt or something, but the very thought mortified Borealis so that he'd dropped it.
Now, at the Bowling Alley, when Darley handed him the eight pound ball, it put some strain on his arm muscles, but was definitely a lot better, even if he wouldn't admit it.

"Ohhh..." Borealis said, looking over the different weights. He decided he did
not want to get anything that weighed less than what Darley had - after all, he had an image to keep! - so he opted for the heaviest one he could find - the 10 pound one. But, as soon as he'd picked it up, it jerked his arm straight down to the floor and just missed hitting it by a hair. Red faced and extremely embarrassed, Borealis straightened up again, hoping Darley hadn't seen what just happened. He was able to hold it, he just hadn't been expecting it to be so heavy, but now that he knew what to expect, he was able to hold it in a more flattering way than half bent over. Still, it was a bit too heavy for comfortable use, so he tried a little lighter one, the nine-pound ball. It was still heavy, but he didn't want to go so low as the eight pound one, so he decided to suck it up and use this one. He brought it over to Darley and heaved it onto the table, looking at her expectantly for what to do next.

Borealis watched in fascination as the pins lowered out of a very complicated contraption he gave up trying to figure out, and watched as Darley entered in their names. He had slipped on the carpet as they were making their way towards the alley, and tried to conceal is as much as he could, but was pretty sure Darley had seen him stumble.
He turned around and noticed the huge bowling balls lined on a shelf behind them, and went to pick one on up.

Harper slid down out of her bunk and reluctantly looked at the book Dae was showing her. It was filled to the brim with pranks and little acts of mischief Daeva seemed to have done over the years, and as Dae leafed through the pages, Harper's eyes widened with astonishment. "Wow..." was all she could think to say.

Borealis followed, a tad reluctantly, but he couldn't back out now, so once Darley got the shoes, he took them, sat down on a nearby bench, and began taking his boots off. Once he (finally) got his shoes laced up, which he had some trouble with, he stood up and looked at Darley expectantly. "What now?" he asked.

Harper's mouth pursed in a doubtful expression. "I...I'm not so sure..."

Borealis looked blankly at Darley, then down at his boots, then back again. "You mean I have to change my shoes?" He sniffed, then wrinkled his nose. "And do they all smell like
that?"

((idk maybe keep going I don't even know if she wants to be in this roleplay...?))

Harper furrowed her brow at Daeva. "What do you mean?" She asked.

((Haha kay))
Borealis walked in after her, his usual fancy jacket and boots, with his hair freshly combed and mouth set as straight as possible. Though, after spending the most of the past few days with his new friends, Farah and Darley, his mouth was starting to learn to twitch into a sort of half smile, even if he'd flatly deny it if he was told so (which he had been). He looked around in interest, taking in the crowd of people, slight smell of feet, and most of all, blaring music. (He winced slightly). Borealis had never been to a bowling alley before, and after much persuasion from Darley, he'd finally agreed to go.
((Is that okay, the bit I put in about Darley? If it isn't like to her character I can totally take it out if you want))

((Okay so are they going to be going together and I assume Farah's gonna be here (if she wants of course) or are they gonna meet there. I kind of think they should all be going together, it's more plausible, and maybe this is a few days after the last rp))
