"Scripture - To Live; To Love!"

* 2 Timothy 3:16 - All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: *


I remember more than a decade ago, when a small, scared girl sat upon her high set bed, staring down upon a small, burgundy book lying open. It sat so neatly, just waiting for her to continue her reading. Her heart was beating fast, and the aroma of dinner, swarming through the room, was not even powerful enough to persuade her to move her bright eyes off of just that small section of that book! She was determined to read it again and again, until the meaning became clear! That meaning did become clear, all she had to do was ask!

That burgundy book lying so respectfully, was my first Bible, and that scared little girl that reread that passage, was me. That day was the day my life made sense!
That passage was one so familiar with most of us, yet not understood
by the majority of us- "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Have we forgotten the power in the Book that brings meaning to life? Over time we started to believe, elegant words, or thought out scripts, could do the same job as the Book written by the very mind of God! We started to trust man's fallible words, more than God's infinite knowledge!

And that small, ancestral book still lies there in the corner, with dust covering the susceptible surface, but still beckoning with a deepening echo, for you to take a look.

Scripture is more than words on a page - Scripture is truth; truth that is not found anywhere else, for this is the truth of life!
The God of the heavens, not only loved you enough to die for you, He loved you enough to tell you about it <3

Scripture is more than words could explain:
Hope
Inspiration
Guidance
Love
Beauty
Truth
Belief
GOD

Hiding it away, changing it up, or ignoring it completely, is no longer an excuse, for it is still there!
Do not overlook your source of strength, open it, and SEE!

The Scripture has been protected, and perfectly kept in tact for you! It is no mistake; it is not flawed- it is perfect!

And then you shall see what I saw, as I did years and years ago, my eyes grew bright, not with curiosity or doubt, but now with a hope and inspiration that I didn't know then, but know now, that this truth is one that never fails- if you seek, you will find!
