Artemus didn't flinch until he hit the cavern wall with his back. He frowned feeling that this may very well be his last chance at saving his sister and her twins. He managed to grit his teeth and speak, "Sorry." He said glaring into her bi-colored eyes rather intensely. "Death is coming to us all as it is. Witches are tilting on the axis of reality and growing in power. Even you grow in power. I feel it and I know you can easily kill me. Trust me doing so would be doing me a favor. I'm better off dead than alive." He admitted just to test how her mind works in his presence verses so many others before him.

Ian growled low at Senka and rolled his eyes as he sat in front of the two ancient relatives. "My brother is all I have, don't let me lose him to stupidity." He said knowing very well that Kellan was very influential and would follow people to their dooms if it seemed curious enough to do so.

KT, I have no idea what curse you should use, but if you have thoughts on her history I'm sure I can help.

The wind started to pick up a bit and the clouds seemed to darken above them. Ash felt the gust of wind hit him hard from behind. As he turned his head a tall skinny boy stood with very intense eyes. He was wearing blue gym shorts and a matching turquoise hat. He didn't have a shirt on, but it didn't seem to bother him. Sweat was slowly beading off of his chest as he breathed heavily. "Ash, I accept your offer. I want to join you and stay with you. Perhaps, after Max gets back on her feet wherever she may be she can give me combat lessons and Kali can do Seer stuff still...but I know I want you to teach me to harness my powers. You caught on to yours almost instantly after Damien gave them to you. I want that sort of control." Salem moved forward. Ash smirked as he turned from Keiko. "Salem, You know you are more than welcome. I will gladly teach you everything I have learned." He turned back to Keiko as Salem approached. "Salem, Keiko. She is new to town and still out of shape on controlling her own powers, just as you are. She has Ascended and knows how to find her powers, but she is far too long out of practice with her gifts any burst of emotion out of her and we could see nuclear damage from her."
Salem looked over Keiko and her cute pup. "Um....Hello...." He said curious as to why Ash was so interested in her. He knew that Ash wanted him because he was going to be Kali's replacement. Ash had a list of Witches in his head he wanted to recruit and as much as that bothered him he was happy to accept the fact that Ash wanted control over his people as their leader. Covens always acted separately with separate laws and so forth, but Ash truly wanted all Witches and Covens alike to unite under the influence of a single Coven.

Eli looked to Kali and frowned before looking back up at Max. "You would like to sit?" He said standing from beside Kali and looking at Max with complete concern in his eyes but his expression showed a different sort of worry. It held a look of displeasure as though something bigger was more bothersome. For Eli they needed to be focusing on Senka and Cedrik two extremely powerful Wraiths who could never be easily stopped.
Ian looked befuddled he was feeling he said nothing wrong and he was trying to be there for Max but she acted so much like him he was too proud to admit that it was hard for him to know what the right thing was to say to her in this moment. She wasn't herself which meant she was not acting like Ian anymore and Ian had no idea how to fix the situation for once in his life he was stuck in the mud waist deep with nothing to grab on to. He stood from the ground now covered rather well in the Sleepwalkers blood. He sat up next to Ciara and Malaki and looked them over hard. "Look, I'm happy you are new or old family, but when you bring something like that to my little brother he will act off of his game and I can't have him steering off the path that is in front of him so if you guys could tone it down a notch that would be just fine. He isn't like other kids and I expect he doesn't realize just how different he is. I'm trying to keep witchcraft out of his life if you guys can understand that then we are good then, mates."

Fiend, Forging papers to become a part of a bloodline may not jsut cut it.
Perhaps he forged the papers placing himself directly in a family tree of mortal Guardians and once the family dies out the Coven realizes they need more Guardians so they call upon the mortal ancestors of Guardians introducing the con man into the world of the Coven. But plot twist what if he truly did hold ancestry with past mortal Guardians as well as Witches who crossed bloodlines with mortals? Perhaps his identity change was only him pushing closer to who and what he already truly was?

Ash raised an eyebrow approaching a bit closer until he was no more than five feet away from Keiko. The wind began to push through the alley of graves and crypts. Ash couldn't help but smirk at her. "You know, I have seen your life in seconds and I know your true feelings toward me. I'm sure you know my name is Andrew, but please call me Ash. I understand that deep down you are afraid, confused, and angry. I want to help you. What you have yet to truly realize is the fact that you are a Witch and well....So am I. I cannot speak against your thoughts of me and I apologize if my words on the television bothered you in any way, but what is done is done. I have regrets toward my actions, as they were quite rash. I do not wish you to judge me as I may have been given immortality, but it came with a price and as you and most others I am only human." Ash felt a second presence for a moment and believed that the sun coming through the trees was playing tricks on his eyes. After speaking he realized it more that it had been no trick. This girl had a lot of built up energy and naturally it would attempt to manifest itself somehow. Especially, the fact that he was connected to all Witches they would seem to experience burst of power in his presence. He saw a figure blur in and out of reality as he had approached her. Clearly, she had some great potential if she was making ghost become very much alive even if just for a few moments. He looked at Tyco and smirked, "Cute little creature, I expect you to be more fond of him than you would a Familiar, yes?"

Kellan finished cleaning and threw a hand up to them all. "Aunt Ciara, Gramps I need to broaden my horizons for a minute. I'll be outside if either of you need anything." He assured them before nodding to Max and Ian, "Clean yourselves up, alright?" He walked out finding Kali and Eli. "Hey, are you alright, man?" He asked with a light blush as he felt in his pocket for his marijuana and bowl.
Eli frowned and nodded to him. "I'm fine." He said smelling the herbal drugs in his pocket easily. He raised an eyebrow. "Probably better to do that around the corner in the alley."
Kellan nodded with a raised eyebrow back at Eli and a curious frown. He knew if he didn't get high now he would pass out again. His brother knew what these people were and he didn't like it at all. All of Kellan's fascination with the supernatural was dismissed by Ian all of the time and Kellan hated him for it now that he knew his brother was a part of it all.
Ian loosened his grip on Max and looked up at Ciara and Malaki with a strange look of fear and curiosity. "How is that? Nevermind...I don't even want to know. How do you know we are?" He asked feeling curious and concerned.

Ian had no real time for reaction to what had happened. He gave Kellan a glare and before he knew it he was seeing Max go into a complete fit of pain it appeared to be. He knew it was some form of PTSD and she couldn't take it anymore. Ian moved quickly by Max's side and pulled her closer to him so her head was in his chest. He began holding her securely with one arm and rubbing his hand down her back reassuringly. He sshed her a few times and Ian simply knew there was no objections being taken. She was staying with them. "Your okay...I promise....Max, listen to my voice, love. I am right here with you. Nothing bad is happening. Think of the smell of coffee. We reach a homicide or suicide scene we have to brew coffee to cover the smell of death. That's what we are going to do. We are covering the thoughts in your head with the smell of coffee. Smell the cafe Max and wash those pictures and sounds and people all away."
Kellan was entirely in shock with how to react to what had just occured. He learned that basically his brother was fully aware that Witches existed and it didn't phase him as a show or fakes. Now he knew things were wrong. Max had her no feeling pain syndrome so what was her supernatural excuse? Then it reached him. The Witch who just left was able to read minds and see into the future. Ciara and Malaki were ancient people cursed and given a second chance by Damien Devereux. The guy who walked out was really some animal by night or something like that and now his brother had to have a connection. His childhood began to surface. He remembered in England his father gave Ian a box of books. Their parents told Ian it was left to him to carry the family name of the Guardian's Valkyrie and become a Secretkeeper. "What is a Secretkeeper? A Guardian?" It came out loud before he could stop himself. His eyes widened as he looked at Ian soothing Max. Ian raised his head looking in shock. He didn't dismiss it though like he usually did. This time he said, "We will talk about it at home." He said glancing uneasily at Malaki and Ciara. He didn't trust the woman over the male but something told him the guy would kill someone in a second. IF they were ancient like Kali had said then perhaps primal instinct to kill possible threats still existed in them. Their eyes no matter how inviting were cold like a murderer's.

Ian jumped up a bit frightened himself as the cup hit the floor. He looked at Kellan feeling he had done something wrong and basically gave him a look like "When we get home we are having a long and boring lecture that will make you wish I was beating rather than talking to you."
Kellan looked like a deer caught in headlights having no real idea as to what was going on with Ian, Max, or these other people. He didn't think Ian would be up to informing him over anything either.

Eli sat holding Kali's hand. "Kellan will be fine, right?" He knew her visions were few and far between, but he was hopeful for small bits of intuition. He didn't bother waiting for her answer. "He glanced at Malaki and Ciara, "Who are they?" He asked curiously.
Ian kissed Max's cheek without thinking. "You know how I want mine. Don't forget Kali and Eli." He looked up at Ciara and Malaki. "Sorry if we were disrupting your meal. I promise we will be out of here as soon as possible." He was examining Max's wounds under his jacket kneeled down beside of her.
