161636 Yes, that's fine.

161636 Aww. That's too bad. I'm actually surprised by how much color change there is here. Going up to the mountains soon, so hopefully there is a lot there this year.

161636 Ah, yes. I imagine Arizona does stay quite hot.
Oct 03, 2017 04:23PM

161636 Where do you live, Jess? Compared to Bookbuyer I'm sire it's hot here in SC as well. It usually doesn't get super cold, but the weather definitely changes.

161636 I'll go and take a look when I get home. It should just be

points + buddy points + pages/200

The pages/200 is where the 5 points per 1000 pages comes in. It's what you end up doing if you create a proportion from the information.

161636 Fall is pretty great. It feels so good outside!
Oct 03, 2017 03:11AM

161636 The 5 points actually come into effect with the pages/200. So you shouldn't have to add in points on top of the formula.

161636 I don't think they are even.

161636 Welcome, Tania! Fantasy is my favorite as well. I'm actually trying to read more fantasy. Do you have any favorites?
Oct 02, 2017 03:11AM

161636 As long as what they read is over the 100 page minimum then we will count them for this one.

161636 I like both of those! I think I was going to have us do a bucketlist challenge once and never did. I'm definitely down for adapting one of these. :)
Oct 01, 2017 12:44PM

161636 I know. I think it was nearly 400 last year.
Oct 01, 2017 12:43PM

161636 Glad to hear it! I pretty much have the Superhero thing finished up to, so we can use that around February or so.
Oct 01, 2017 10:52AM

161636 We are nearly to 600 members! How did that happen?
Oct 01, 2017 10:51AM

161636 I've done that before, Alaina. Copy and paste can sometimes cause issues.
Oct 01, 2017 08:45AM

161636 It doesn't need to have a theme necessarily.

Maybe we will do Superheroes in February.
Oct 01, 2017 08:10AM

161636 I am going to keep working with that one. I thought it was pretty fun and goes well with all of the current movies/books that are coming out. Glad you like the idea!
Oct 01, 2017 07:53AM

161636 Ok. Categories have been messaged to Bookbuyer and shared with Alaina, Salha, and Jackie.

I am also going to try and come up with rules and such for a New Year's Resolution challenge for January. That one should be pretty easy, particularly since we've done one before.

Does anyone have any ideas for the first quarterly challenge in 2018? Or any other monthly challenges? I was thinking of revamping the Superhero challenge that we've done before, so we could use that at some point.

161636 Oh, and if you use the goodreads app you can do the cover swipe feature to add things more easily if you aren wanting to add books from your physical shelves.

161636 Those large bindups can be hard to handle at times. I really hope you find something that holds your attention better than your recent ones.
