i picked up book 1 last night from the library, hoping to start it friday :)

Ch.1 & 2 (view spoiler)[ i knew going into this book there were going to be a lot of Hallmark-esque cliches:

~small town girl leaves home for the big city and is annoyed to come back home
~childhood crush still lives in the small town & is charming and flirtatious
~silly shenanigans that would never happen in real life but of course make us all go heart eye'd

so far the book does not disappoint. although the actual bet is a bit more lame than i anticipated. hopefully there will be some sort of drama, other than Quinn haha. (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]
