Still slowly making my way through.

This has a very creepy serial killer & is a great procedural, but I hated the serendipitous 2nd energy boost that saved the day at the end.

Review:
An extremely creepy serial killer is stalking the women of New York nine years after a spate of identical killings in that city. On investigation, it's discovered that at least 23 women around the world have lost their lives to this clever & quiet murderer, & it's time for Dallas to cage the culprit.

An excellent episode in the life of Roarke & Eve, and a task force of all the best characters is gathered to the hunt, with a couple of new names, too. I enjoyed the procedural aspects as the team peeled back the layers on the modus operandi of this elusive murderer. Roarke in the cop shop was amusing, I bet they'd love to keep him around.

I wasn't entirely happy with the coincidence of the second energy booster - "two energy boosts with a tranq chaser" -, just a little too serendipitous for an otherwise well-crafted thriller. (hide spoiler)]
