161636 Question on SS concerning a suggested adjustment:
The sheets can scroll left or right from the beginning to end . I have seen it where we can keep the team members and Info sheets always available and the individual game sheets scroll left and right. Is this something someone here knows how to set up? I'm not up on sheets tech just simple input. Thought that might be useful.

161636 I've downloaded Once Upon a Duke (12 Dukes of Christmas #1) by Erica Ridley and A Toy Drone for Christmas (DroneKing Trilogy Book 1) by Mary Jane Forbes and would be interested in buddy reads for them. Nothing like a couple of Holiday freebies

Game 1, Round 3: The Temple Run
9. Golden Doors: A - The Tomb of the Ancient Kings - Task 2: MC’s first/last name starts with K
How it Fits: MC's first name is Kira
161636 Completed - After a few dramatic battles our group reaches their goal and we get our first dragon. But they are immediately challenged leading to a fraught escape and then heading to the next realm, the Air Realm. This was a fun fantasy quest, beginning a 5 book series. Pretty light on character depth and hard to get into character with the jumping viewpoints. Not sure I will seek out more volumes.
161636 Ch 39 (85%) - The road trip continues with more backstory for each character being revealed and opposition to their journey appears in various unforeseen ways. Reaching the first bonding site in the Fire Realm we also learn more about the Gods and the history of the dragons. The chapter point of view changes between Kira and the 4 men with Kira having the most, but this has become somewhat confusing because as Jennifer pointed out they seem to be telling rather than showing and I'm having trouble getting into the characters as the chapter POV changes.

Well off to the conclusion. Wish someone else was here for a real discussion.
161636 Ch 21 (45%) - The next segment is a road story. The five MCs all need to learn to get along, practice their new powers, fight bandits, and hide from the ruling dragons. This is typical of that type of plot with petty arguments and jealousies. Kira is both novice and learner while being responsible for making major decisions. Her confusion comes across well. The characters are also all developing more distinct personalities.
161636 Ch 13 (25%) - I have gotten to the same place as Jennifer and really don't mind the characterization. It reads like a typical fairy tale with standard tropes to fill in the details. I'm assuming that the details are going to be filled in more at the bonding ceremonies unlike the typical fairy tale that just states what happens. Since there are several books I'm also assuming each dragon will have a book to defeat their predecessor, so action and sex will be filling out the story. Let the fun begin!
161636 Just about to start this one.

161636 I was going to try a buddy read. I found one that starts tomorrow
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I have it on my Kindle but now I see where we only get double credit if we buddy with someone in this group. Does that mean on our team or just that the BR is on Challenge Corner and not another GR group?

161636 Looks like there are linked lists on the list of tasks on our Chat page now.
Nov 14, 2020 09:39PM

161636 Could someone explain what we are doing for the next round? We can just pick any task out of that list and read for it?
Why do all of the tasks have a room/place and letter preceding them except #6 and what do the letters stand for?
Do we get points for completing a room/place? a full # category?
What is the strategy for this?
