Alan Moore is an amazing person!

It's really chunky and looks like a very valuable read. I'm going to take my time with it as university has taken over my life XD
The Cicero's are authors I would like to look into more.

Gosh! Nice to meet you all! I must say your paths are pretty intriguing and interesting to me :)

Exactly. I have tried to push it for years. Valuable information within!

I've heard of Greer but not read anything by him. My reading wish list is horrendously long! Hahaha XD

Happy studying! Still studying it. It's pretty intense! I can read and re-read the same essays and it's always "new" each time. It would be great to see what you garner from a few pages :)

I agree with Dion Fortune! I started reading 'The Mystical Qabalah' a while back, but only recently bought a hard copy. Fabulous!

Add discussions and book titles using the "folder" tab when starting a new topic, that way folks can check different folders for specific titles or topics.

I personally follow a hermetic way of teaching. What about you?
I would recommend Israel Regardie and Dion Fortune to begin.

But I didn't own it at the time, so I didn't get much time to note everything I wanted to.
'Kundun' is amazing! As long as you touch base you're all good. It might be helpful to continue teaching but under a different title?

We've all gone through various life lessons, and for me it's pretty amazing to hear about others experiences. Post and discuss! =]

I'm going to start this book in February, but wondered what you all think of it?
Anyone willing to share updates as they read along?

What are your general thoughts about this compilation? I personally love it, and would highly recommend it to anyone, though it can be a tough read for those who haven't practised or learnt occult subjects at all, or for long. Still, a solid book.

Can you remember the first three titles you ever read which introduced you to your magickal awakening?

I'm one of the main moderators. A practising occultist since my childhood, but a Thelemite since 2012. I'm studying for a BA in English Literature, which means I spend an awful amount of time devouring texts of all natures.
Welcome to the group!
