Yeah I know...that sentence in particular has been a real thorn in my side. Tried many variations and still feel it isn't quite right.

154447 Hi guys! Just looking for some opinions on the blurb I've worked up for my next novel. What does everyone think of it?

****
Nathan Miller owns the streets of Union City. A rogue detective protected by a corrupt establishment—his rule is absolute. But nothing lasts forever. Someone has betrayed him. Blog sensation Alexis King knows things she shouldn’t. Taking aim at Nathan she threatens his hold over the city, causing the elite to question his value.

Caught in a struggle for survival, Nathan is desperate to silence her source and will stop at nothing to find them. But he’s no longer the only thing to fear in the rotten underbelly of the city. Something evil has been preying upon the displaced outside the city wall—and Nathan is the next target.

Any thoughts for improvement?

154447 Without knowing anything about what the book is about I would say that #88 is the most eye-catching. That point of light in the center really grabs your attention.

154447 You know after reading all the problems (Microsoft and problems?? Go figure right lol) I'm so glad I told them to stick Windows 10 where the sun don't shine :D

So does that mean that everyone who got Windows 10 "for free" will soon have to pay a monthly subscription just to keep it?

I heard that support for Windows 7 will be withdrawn within a year...not sure how accurate that is.

Doesn't matter to me though, I'm sticking with Windows 7 as I have no interest in being a product tester for Microsoft!!

My experience with my first novel showed me that sales take time. It was well over a month before I saw any real traction, such as it is. Keep at it, stay positive and you'll do fine :)
