Hi Lisette,

I've heard about Kindle Create but never used it. Is it software based that needs to be downloaded?

Hi Jay,

What type of files does Calibre convert to mobi? And is it easy to use?

154447 The second cover is definitely more eye catching for me; I would make the switch :)

154447 Thanks Micah!!

Styles is something I need to get a handle on. For some reason they vex me; more of an Excel nerd I guess :)

Excellent discussion and topic :)

I'm curious Christina, how do you add spacing without hitting enter?

Wow! They charge per impression!? Impressions mean nothing...that's a ridiculous setup.

154447 I've always been led to believe that BookBub is the Holy Grail for promotion and advertising and as such, is exceedingly difficult to have your book featured there.

If that's all true then I'm really confused about how a book with 7 reviews on Amazon was featured (alone mind you) in today's email from BookBub to me.

Has anyone had any experience with BookBub?

154447 Thanks all!! Now to finish the book :)

154447 Thanks for all the helpful suggestions :D

Here is the revised blurb...much better I think.

****
Nathan Miller owns the streets of Union City. A rogue detective protected by a corrupt establishment—his rule is absolute. But nothing lasts forever. Someone has betrayed him and now blog sensation Alexis King knows things she shouldn’t. Coming after Nathan she threatens his authority, giving the elite cause to question his worth.

To protect his reign, Nathan must silence his betrayer before Alexis learns enough to topple him. But he’s no longer the only thing to fear in the rotten underbelly of 2035. His search uncovers an evil preying upon the displaced beyond the city wall—making Nathan the next target.

How did I not see that? Thanks :)

154447 One other question is...do you think it's important for the blurb to say the story takes place in the year 2035? Does it matter?
