Fingers crossed for your college program! Please keep us posted."

It has been a hard few days but I got some news about college program so that is nice to look towards the future. So I have to take a English 11 course ( my mark in high school wasn't a good mark) before I start the college program, so that is cool for sure. I do get to do a novel study in one of the units, so that will be fun. Hopefully I can finish the course by November or Dec and start the college program in Jan.

151076 Thanks everybody, this group is so amazing and it is nice to know that I have someone to talk if I need it. The current situation going on with world definitely doesn’t help with trying to dealing with what happened to Erin.

I try my best to think of all the happy memories I have with her, it feels like some days is harder not cry about it. One day at a time.

Yes Jonetta, I am currently reading the Bride quartet, the first one in the series.

About my college program, I did some courses when I finished high school many years ago but this is the first time to do a full college program. It is an office admin program with bookkeeping speciality.

151076 Just wanted to say hello and see how everybody is doing. I am having a bad day today but I know that is how some days are going to be. I just have to take one day at a time. Reading definitely helps me during this time, especially when it is one of my favorite authors ( Nora Roberts).

I also applied for a college program and I am hoping to start in Sept or sometime in the fall. I only need to do one upgrading course so that is good.

151076 1. Did you complete and/or get up to date in any series this month? Nope
2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
Stealing Shadows (Bishop/Special Crimes Unit #1; Shadows #1) by Kay Hooper Another Thing to Fall (Tess Monaghan #10) by Laura Lippman
I started the Kay Hooper series and Tess Monaghan series by Laura Lippman( Didn't know it was a series until I started it. I will be defintely continuing the Kay Hooper series, not sure about the Laura Lippman series yet, I think I need to read another book in the series first.
3. Did you move forward in any series? How many?
Nope
4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
I love Stealing Shadows, I love all the suspense in it and I enjoyed it just as much as I did the first time. 4/5. Another book that I gave 4/5 is The Tattooist of Auschwitz, that book was such a powerful book. It was really hard to read, but I felt the writing was pretty good.
Stealing Shadows (Bishop/Special Crimes Unit #1; Shadows #1) by Kay Hooper The Tattooist of Auschwitz (The Tattooist of Auschwitz, #1) by Heather Morris

5. Overall summary of your reading month?
Another good month of reading. I read 3 books again that seems to be a pattern for me which is good. I have already read more books this year than I did last year.
