This is my first time reading her too but my mom really likes her books.

Yes I am, Jonetta. I am making more time to read in the evening so that defintely helps and camping also help me as I have lots of time to read.

I am going to be away the beginning of August for a few weeks so I wanted to post this early.

I finished another book . . I really enjoy this book and I will defintely reading more of this series in the future. 4/5

That is a great idea to get Japanese sky lanterns and set them free in the sky around the country.

Yes the camping trip did help a lot. Yes it is hard to have her birthday as well but we try to remember all the happy times which helps a lot. We made a cake for her birthday and had take out and then went swimming as she loved to swim.

Thanks. It has been two years since she passed away but birthdays are always hard but we try to remember the happy memories.

Today would have been my older daughter’s birthday. She would have be 8. I hope it is ok to write this here. You guys have been so supportive, so I just wanted to tell you. We made a cake in her honour and have some take out food.

I finished two books while I was camping.

. This wasn’t one of my favourite Elin Hilderbrand book. It was a ok book but I didn’t feel connected with the characters. It was nice easy read though. 3/5

This was an ok book. It was paranormal romance with some mystery. 3/5

Finished a book. . This was my first time reading this author. I really enjoy this book. I don't really read historical fiction but I like it. I like that it has two different timelines and it keeps you guessing to what happened to these characters during that time. Great book. 4/5

Thanks Jonetta. Yes I definitely think of the good memories especially with her birthday in July too.

I have never read Lisa Jewell book before but heard it is a good author.

Great list. Mary Burton is an author I need to read again. I remember liking her books.

2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue? Yes. I started the Pickled & Preserved Mystery. I will definitely read more of this series.
3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many? I move forward in one book - Rose Harbor Series.
4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
No 5 stars books. But I really enjoy my cozy mystery and the Debbie Macomber books. I gave them both 4 stars.

5. Overall summary of your reading month?
I read three books this month which was really good for me.

July is another hard month, but we are going to go camping for a week so that will help for sure. Hopefully I have another good reading month.

Another book finished. . I really enjoy this book. It is exactly what I like about a cozy mystery, great character and nice small town feel to it. I will definitely look out for more of this author and this series. 4/5
