147920 #1 The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis - 4/5

Loved it, but I found the first book more interesting (The Magician's Nephew, which I guess was written latter.) But it was good nonetheless!

Yes, but why is that? Two versions I mean?

Yes!

Oh, yes! They are used to seeing me at home since I stay at home only, but they are so thrilled to have Vishal at home! He's the one who pampers them silly, especially our first two girls, Eva and Katie - he takes them out in the garden and lets them eat the grass and play in the mud and grooms them with their brush and they both love it and him to bits! Also, he's the one who plays with them and keeps on running around the house and they all love it! Lol.

I loved Armadale! I guess I'll be going for The Moonstone next... and then The Woman In White. Thanks for the recs. Appreciate it!

147920 Okay, so I tried uploading the books I have and it ended up exhausting my Google Drive space. So here's what I have done, I am uploading only the ebooks as audiobooks take a lot of time. Here's the list fo Ebooks on my Google Drive. I've left the link at the bottom, just go there and download the book you want.
For audiobooks, I'm thinking, I'll just share the names of the books and you can send me your email and I can mail them to you. It'll be easier that way.

For now, I've added the following ebooks to my drive:

- CHASING CASSANDRA by Lisa Kleypas
- SUCH A FUN AGE by Kiley Reid
- GOLDEN IN DEATH by J.D. Robb
- THE TATTOOIST OF AUSCHWITZ by Heather Morris
- THE DUTCH HOUSE by Ann Patchett
- THE GIVER OF STARS by Jojo Moyes
- THE LAST WISH by Andrzej Sapkowski
- COCONUT LAYER CAKE MURDER by Joanne Fluke
- LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE by Celeste Ng
- WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING by Delia Owens
- AMERICAN DIRT by Jeanine Cummins
- THE WARSAW PROTOCOL by Steve Berry
- BLINDSIDE by James Patterson and James O. Born
- We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson
- The Sundial by Shirley Jackson
- The Road Through the Wall (The Other Side of the Street) by Shirley Jackson
- The Lottery and Other Stories by Shirley Jackson
- The Bird's Nest by Shirley Jackson
- Hangsaman by Shirley Jackson
- Come Along with Me- Classic Short Stories and an Unfinished Novel by Shirley Jackson
- Haruki Murakami's Books

Let me know if there is any problem with the link. I'm doing this for the first time, so don't know if there will be any.
Enjoy reading!

147920 #4 The Haunted Hotel: A Mystery of Modern Venice by Wilkie Collins - 2/5
The characterisation was a problem for me and as a result, I wasn't much able to enjoy the book.

#5 The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Rebert L. Stevenson - 4/5
A brilliant book. Enjoyed every bit of it. Though being a novella it still felt like a slow burn.

#6 The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson - 5/5
This book totally blew my mind! It was every bit as good as every horror fan makes it out to be. The build-up was amazing and the impending-sense-of-doom was so awesome that I've never experienced before! A definite must-read!!

Hahhaa... Imagine if everyone comes only in a mask and gloves! LOL.
147920 I am getting a hell of a lot more time with my husband, just like Cheryl mentioned. He's a businessman so he has to take a break from work, which works fine for both of us! He's helping me out in cleaning the house as the house help is not available till the 1st of April and also sometimes cooks for me. We both are definitely drinking a lot and sleeping till late to our heart's content.
Also getting to spend so much time with my fur babies, especially the 2 new additions.
I anyway work from home, so my reading time is a bit restricted now that Vishal is at home, though I don't mind it :D

147920 Great info everyone! I do have some audiobooks that I downloaded so I can share those via a Goggle Drive link. I'll need time to do that as they are on my external drive, so I'll try to do it ASAP.
