I just finished reading The DUFF... and it was awesome!!! <3I really, really enjoyed this light hearted read with some really messy teen-problems a DUFF faces :)
I'll recommend to anyone who wants to read a decent YA read! :)
Dagny wrote: "Living in the mundane world of muggles now, Heena?"@Dagny... Yessss!!! And like Harry I was feeling so trapped and an odd-one-out!
But now that I'm back to our RMFAO-Hogwarts, I'm feeling like myself!!! *beaming*
Dagny wrote: "I've only recently finished my first, Phoenix, and am not very far into my second. So I'm also slower than the speedsters. "Wait till she sees your Classics Discussion Board @Dagny... Remember you are our professor!!! :)
Phoenix wrote: "Wow, you're all steaming through your YA reads. :) I've almost finished my first. I wish I read as quick as you guys..."@Phoenix Almost everyone here is a total bookiopath!!! We are a bunch of voracious readers... if you think this is a lot you should check out our Mystery/Thriller Month's discussion board! 9-10 reads were almost everyone's average! lol!
I'm all stuck up with "real life" stuff! I hate it when I have to compromise on my reads!!!Still I managed to finish The Chamber Of Secrets... and I LOVE IT!!! As @Steve said these books are really getting better and better!
Can't wait to read the next one. I'll start it in 2-3 days.
I hope all you guys are enjoying your reads as well!

Oh my! You're reading them so fast! I'm jealous now!!!
I've just started with this one and I can't put it down!!! :)
Dagny wrote: "Salivating! No plain chocolate for Heena and Kim."Hehehe... yea, we need the special dark one!!! ;)
I'm totally loving this one...I love Tris... i love the fact that she doesn't do what's correct in the eyes of her faction but what she really feels like doing! I love this bit a lot!
I can relate to her in many ways and I guess it's slowly becoming my favourite read...:)
Fingers crossed!!!
@Kim Oh yea... it's like eating dark chocolate cake layered with dark chocolate ganache!!! JUST CAN'T HAVE ENOUGH!!!I'm gonna read the next two parts together and then will buy the next parts and read them as well! lol!
I LOVE it!!!
I loved the first one... and I'll start with the second one as soon as I finish Divergent (which I'm almost done with.) So probably tomorrow...Can't wait to see what happens when Harry returns to the Dursleys...
Though I have an idea (as I watched the movie) but still knowing the entire thing makes me read it even more... Books are ever so better than the movies!!!
@Steve: Yea... I see that now... And I agree, it starts off as a children's book but slowly it grows into a serious and tough read... :)BTW... loved your review :)
@Vatsa... Sorry for the mini-outburst! Had a tough day (that day.)And no worries... it wasn't an argument, so to say, more like a heady discussion :)
Thanks for going over to the intro board and posting :D
Have a great day!!!
Kim wrote: "And how awesome is his pink "umbrella? As far as the Dursleys go, they're control freaks who will do anything to make Harry miserable, even if it falls back on them. Plus, if you keep reading the s..."I agree @Kim! Dursleys just want to make his life miserable... And as Dagny said, yea, she was (atleast that's what they showed in the movie and it sounds like that only...)
To be honest, if I would have been at her place, i would have been jealous too, but her being so rude to harry (infact her hatred for Harry and his family) is wrong and really irritating... But that's how you love Harry even more... isn't it...
I'm glad @Dagny that you are enjoying it... if you like it now, you'll love it in further pages... It keeps on getting better and better!!!
YA#2- Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone: 5/5I loved it <3 I was literally kicking myself for not reading it before!!!
I'll start the next part after finishing Divergent (as I'm almost done with it.)
I know that already! But I'm talking about the genre... There are two types of writings... simple and complex and as a reviewer I'm obliged to comment on what type of writing it is! And what you are saying stands for children in India... Otherwise LOTR and Hobbit is a ya read and yes 10-11 year old children read and understand LOTR and Hobbit very nicely...
