50x66 What book are you going to binge read in just a few sittings? Aim to have at least one book read by the end of next weekend (some of you will be able to read two books). Add your book to your currently reading shelf and add a note that this is your Binge Book in your status comments. Then be ready to share next week how reading one book in just a few sittings went for you. What did you learn about yourself as a reader?

Glad you are giving other genres a look. Fast Food Nation is a good choice. Do you like history? You can also check out A Little History of the World by Gombrich.

50x66 Hi there.
Just a quick check in of your reading goals thus far. How are things going? How many books have you read so far? How many more do you have to go? Talk about some challenges? Also name and mention things that are working. How are you tracking your reading goal? What different strategies have you used or tried to read your books more closely? Let's have a discussion about where we are all at here. :)

Personally, I was feeling pretty good about my pace and goal up until the first two weeks of January. After that, there are two weeks leading up to the Green Gecko trip that I dropped the ball on reading a little. It has made a very unhappy person. Haha. So, my plan to get back on the wagon is to make sure I catch up with my reading challenge. I am behind by 4 books I think so I need to read like 25 pages every night of four just right to comfort books to get back on track. A lot is going on but I am going to make it a priority. This way, I am meeting my goal, I am happy with my reading life and I can fill life again with pages from my favorite thing to do. I still have my log and frankly, the big Xs on the last two weeks of January made me cringe, thus, here we are. (sad face) Also, since my physical calendar log is working for me, I will continue to use it, as well as logging my quick thinking while and post reading here on Goodreads.

How about you? What's your plan? Share it here.
