"That'd be horrid," Celia commented. "I fell out of a tree one time and had a concussion. It was awful. Although, it was a long time ago, I was eleven, so I may have over reacted a bit."
Celia let herself get caught up in the memory, recalling how her mother, who had still been alive, had rushed her straight to the hospital and how she'd been crying because she'd been so worried about her daughter. Afterwards they'd joked it off, saying that Celia probably would have lied there for another hour before anyone noticed, and wasn't she lucky her mum decided to check in? She specifically remembered her mum saying,
Really, what'd you do with out me?i think I've done a pretty good job, Celia thought, a but bitterly, pulling her back to the present.
The time in between her talking and her memory/flashback had only lasted a few moments, so Celia began to talk again, hoping Breeze didn't notice the slight pause. "It'd be embarrassing though, don't you think? 'Oh yeah, I have a concussion because I was walking backwards and tripped'." (( that last part is said in a high pitched voice ))

"But what?" Will asked her, scooting closer and wrapping an arm around her shoulders. Odd, he thought suddenly, that he felt the need to comfort her, when he was the one who'd just explained about a car accident he'd been in.

"My dad doesn't even notice," Celia mused, turning to walk backwards, so she could face Breeze. "Too busy in whatever he's doing constantly."
A.K.A drinking, she thought to herself. But that really wasn't something you told someone you just met, so she kept her mouth shut on that matter. "Oh, tell me if I'm about to run into something, will you? I'd hate to run into something and get a concussion."

Will blinked a few times, surprised at her reaction. It was almost as if she'd shrunk in on herself. "It's okay, Chloe, I'm used to people asking. It was a long time ago."

"Everyone always asks," Will tells her. "It's not like you're the first one ever. At least you dropped it afterwards. Celia thought I'd...it was a car wreck," Will told her, deciding it was better to tell her than have her think up other scenarios.

(( Ooh, had question. I think probably WillxChloe, but we really haven't seen much of CeliaxBreeze so ))
"Thanks," Celia said, beaming at the compliment. "I just love having dyed hair. Old people giving me looks like I'm demon possessed, my peers thinking I'm.a rebel or something. My little brother gets a kick out of it too. I change it up every so often, and he's always trying to guess what color it'll be next." Celia's voice unknowingly softened as she talked about her brother. He was, after all, one of the closest people she had in her life.

"Really," Will said, sensing that she didn't believe him. "It's fine. You're fine. And," he added, "you're not an idiot."

"It's fine," Will assured her, though he still sounded stiffer than usual. "I don't like talking about is all."

Will followed her gaze and hastily pulled his sleeves down. "It's just a scar," he promised. He didn't particularly like discussing the car wreck, which was why he usually wore long sleeves. Everyone always asked that question, and once Will had answered, all of a sudden he was being given looks of pity.

"Not much of a talker, eh?" asked Celia, raising a an eyebrow. "Of course, I'm very much a talker, so I suppose it evens out. Say, that's a pretty shade of green," she commented, nodding at a rather vivid green sign. "I might dye my hair that color eventually. You know, once I get bored of this one." Celia touched her purplish-blue hair, considering. "I don't think I will for a bit longer though. I really do like this color."
(( I find it funny that Breeze is worrying about Will and Celia being in a relationship, when just a bit ago Chloe was worrying about the same thing. Ah, parallels ))

"That's too bad," Will said. "I bet that can be hard, huh?" Feeling a bit hot and stuffy, he pushed up his sleeves, momentarily forgetting about the scar that led from the inside of his elbow to an inch from his wrist.

Celia walked with Breeze through the almost empty streets, keeping up a monologue. After a while of talking and walking, she stopped for breath and glanced over at Breeze. "God, I've barely let you get a word in. If I ever start to, like, ramble on and on and you want to say something, you can just stop me. I can blab on, I know. I won't get offended or anything if you want me to stop. Oh, I'm doing it again aren't I? If my mate Will was here, he'd probably put his hand over my mouth to shut me up. That was completely unrelated. And I'm still talking. I'm actually going to stop now. Right now. This is me shutting up."

Will looked up at her. "What about you? Do your parents-or whoever is your guardian-know about all this? Magic and whatnot? If its not too personal, of course."

"It makes having to live with her over the summer awfully hard," Will said, almost telling her exactly what he'd been thinking. He stopped though, because really, how many people enjoyed listening to philosophical stuff like that? "But it could be worse."

"Brilliant," Celia said, starting to walk towards the door. She glanced behind her shoulder at Breeze....who, Celia suddenly realized looked very attractive.

"Gran's a bit paranoid," Will said, rubbing the back of his neck. He didn't really find it funny at all, but he supposed if you weren't experiencing the whole 'grandmother thinks you're selling your soul to demons' thing it didn't seem so serious. A lot of people choose to laugh at those kind of things, rather than think about what it'd be like to have to deal with them. Will pet Snowdrop absentmindingly, thinking that, if he told Celia that, she'd smack him on the back of his head and tell him to stop being so poetic. He looked over at Chloe and wondered how
she'd react to him being 'poetic'.

"Hmm, what about la bouillabaisse? We can talk over a cup of coffee or something," Celia said. "Or we could just walk around Belleville if you'd rather."

"I told her that I'm attending an all boys school that has absolutely nothing to do with magic," Will confided, as if it were a big secret; though it wasn't; really. "I don't really think she believed it though. Probably thinks I'm off performing satanic rituals somewhere."

"Oh, hello," Celia said to the shopkeeper. "I was beginning to think no one was here."
After buying her things, Celia walked back over to where Breeze was. "So, Breeze, you wanna hang out somewhere? I really have absolutely nothing to do now, and you seem like a cool person. Wanna be friends?"

"Nice to meet you," Celia said. "Pretty name. Hello? Anyone here?" This last part was shouted into the back of the shop.
