The Garden of Light

You see that garden, just over there?
The one with the light,
The light, pouring, seeping,
Seeping into every petal, every leaf, every thorn.

You see that garden, just over there?
The one with the flowers, dew on their leaves.
Dew glistening and glittering,
Glittering in the light.

You see that garden, just over there?
The one with the trellis,
The trellis climbing up high,
High, into the sky.

You see that garden, just over there?
The one with the vines,
The vines creeping and sliding,
Sliding through every crack, every slit.

You see that garden, just over there?
The one with the tulips, daisies and roses,
Roses turning their faces up to the light,
Daisies with dew shining on their petals,
Tulips grouping around the foot of the trellis,
Yes, that garden, the Garden of Light.
