I really wanted to get some more time to find allies in the training center, but nobody has really been active so it might be good to just do option one.
(Do we have to put our post inside a spoiler alert? If we do just let me know and I can edit it)As Terra's name was called over the speaker, she quickly but calmly stood up from her seat and headed into the training center. She was slightly nervous because she knew she had to impress the gamemakers in order to get more sponsors, but she willed herself to calm down because she knew she wouldn't perform as good if she was nervous. Hopefully the judges even paid attention to her during her session, she knew they didn't really care about people from the non-career districts, but her father was a victor from a career district so she was hoping they wouldn't just brush her off, even though she was from five. Taking a deep breath, she headed over to the weapons station and picked up her specialty weapon: the whip. She planned on showing off her strongest skills first, in case she ran out of time to show them everything she had learned in the training center. As she stepped into the simulation chamber, she heard an echo of her father's voice in her head. Focus on the targets, don't let yourself get distracted. As the first pixelatted person charged towards her, she planted her feet firmly on the ground and waited until the person was close enough to her for her to dismember. She took off the person's head with the whip, another one's whole top half, and three others' arms and legs. By the end of the simulation, she was slightly winded but felt like she did good enough to hopefully impress the gamemakers. She left the chamber, placing the whip back on the weapons table. She then headed over to the knives station and picked up four knives, all in different shapes and sizes. She took a deep breath, then threw the first one at a target. It lodged into the dummy's neck, not where she intended to throw it, but she smiled anyway making it seem like that's where she wanted it to go. She picked up the second knife, a longer one with a slightly curved blade. Focus on nothing but the target. She threw the second knife and breathed a sigh of relief as the knife hit the dummy right between the eyes. She threw the last two knives, one of them hitting the heart and the other one in the right eye. She looked up at the gamemakers expectantly, and the head gamemaker said, "Five minutes, Miss Byrne." Damn. She had lost track of time. Hopefully she could try to impress the gamemakers one last time but she was short on time. She reluctantly headed over to the plant identification station and desperately hoped she could remember all the tips Tuesday had told her about identifying poisonous plants. She took a deep breath and started the simulation. She was slightly overwhelmed as well over 40 plants showed up on the screen. She pointed out the ones that had really obvious poisonous markers, but she also hit a bunch of wrong ones that weren't poisonous. She felt her heart sinking as she got a few more wrong. She was running out of time fast, but somehow managed to identify the last couple poisonous plants with just a few seconds left. The results showed up saying that she had gotten two thirds of the poisonous plants right. She knew that that was not especially good, but she was still glad she didn't absolutely bomb it. "Thank you for your time, Miss Byrne." The head gamemaker said. As she exited the training center, she couldn't help but wonder whether or not her dad would be proud of her.
(@Mel and whoever else)(It seems like Isa is taking a while to reply, so if she doesn't reply soon I'm probably gonna have my character go off somewhere and show off her whip or knife throwing skills if anyone wants to rp with her.)
(Yeah, that sounds good.)Terra noticed Ica having to look down to see her, but didn't let it get to her. She was used to being the short one in the crowd and was hoping these people didn't mistake her for weak. "There's definitely a lot more career-type people from districts other than One and Two, so that should be interesting. A lot of these younger, weaker people seem kind of cocky though and it's kind of annoying."
Terra internally chuckled a little bit. She knew she shouldn't be amused, but she didn't believe that Ica was actually sympathetic. She went along with it, however, because she was also bound to get slightly annoyed with this girl if she didn't brighten up soon. "What's wrong? Did the fight upset you?" She put on her best concerned face, hoping that she actually looked the part. (Should we wait for Isa to reply or just continue?)
(Oh no, I thought Isa said her name but she didn't. My bad)"Yeah, I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I'm hoping to get an ally or two that are actually good in the arena but I don't absolutely need allies. This time is mostly for training, like you said. I've talked to a few people but some of them ended up being weird."
Terra realized she didn't give the other girl the chance to introduce herself so she turned to her and said, "Hi, what's your name?"

Terra looked at Isa and Ica and said, "so, besides those two dramatic people that just left have either of you met anyone that is interesting or worth your time?"
(Sorry this post is kind of short, they will get more detailed)
Terra was annoyed and slightly offended that her interaction with Tara was cut short by that crazy girl from two. She was even more annoyed that neither of them seemed to care that they were making themselves look like fools by attacking each other in the training room. She decided that when it was time to actually start fighting in the arena, she would not attempt to ally with either of them, and if she ran into them, she would not hesitate to kill them. She scanned the room looking for someone else to talk to because she felt awkward just standing there by herself. She spotted a guy that looked about her age that she believed was from District Four being approached by a girl she didn't know that looked a little upset. She walked towards them and started talking right away. "My name is Terra and I'm from District Five," she said, "that was some fight, wasn't it? We haven't even entered the arena yet and people are already trying to kill each other!" She was hoping that these people would be decent and that her conversation would not get cut off by another hysterical person flipping sh*t.
(Does anyone want to roleplay with my D5 character Terra? I have a possible alliance but I want to have her roleplay with some other characters too)
Just as she was about to answer Tara's question with a smart remark, another girl that appeared to be from a career district came over to them, screaming, and punched Tara extremely hard. Tara lashed back at her, scratching her in the face, but Terra could tell Tara was slightly unsteady, even if she tried to act like she wasn't. She knew she should probably attempt to stop the fight since they weren't supposed to be killing each other until they got into the arena, so she quickly walked towards the two girls. Turning toward Silver, she stepped forward and said, "what the hell was that for? Don't you think you should save that for the arena?"
Terra knew Tara wasn't just making casual talk and wanted more than just a simple answer from her about where she was from. "Well, I was born in District Four and my dad was a victor from there, but we had to move to five when I was a baby. He still trained me as a career would be trained though because he wants me to follow in his footsteps and win the games like he did."
(My computer broke so I have to rp on my phone until it gets fixed, but was Tara still gonna roleplay with my character (Terra) or did you not see my post?)
Just as Terra was about to respond to Bronn, another girl that was his district partner came up to them. She looked like someone that Terra would possibly get along with, so she introduced herself. "Hey, I'm Terra Byrne from district five. We were just talking about our strengths and strategies for the arena." She said with a smile.
When she realized that she had never responded to Bronn, she told him, "those sound like pretty decent strengths, especially the tomahawk. I'm good with knife throwing, but my specialty is a whip." She said with a small grin, then looked around at the other three tributes.
John wrote: "As Bronnston and Tuesday were talking another girl walked over to them."Terra Byrne, District 5. And you are"
Bronn joke snapped to attention saying "Bronnston Reeves, District 7 sir!"
The new gir..."
Terra looked at Bronn with her eyes squinted. He seemed kind of strange, but once he realized she didn't understand the joke he relaxed some.
"Thanks," she said, "I know this is a little bit forward, but what are your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to the arena and fighting?"
If Terra wanted to make allies, she wanted people that were good. Tuesday seemed like a good person to ally with, but she wasn't sure about this guy. She would have to see what his strengths were, and she wanted to make sure nobody she allied with would backstab her.
Terra glanced over at Tuesday and the boy she was talking to. She hadn't seen him enter the training center until Tuesday went over to him. She was curious who he was and where he was from, so she strode over to him and Tuesday. When they saw her approaching them, they both looked up at her. Looking at the boy, she held out her hand for him to shake and said, "Terra Byrne, District 5. And you are?"
