139735 How does that work then for finding a tbr book on the list? Do you do rereads? I'm so buried in my tbr that I'm probably not rereading for a long time lol.
Jan 22, 2025 02:40PM

139735 Yeah, except I try not to vote a book onto a list until I've read it, or it's one I'm currently reading and obviously fits, just because the lists for content get super messy with wrong books. I don't want to be an offender lol.

139735 I haven't stumbled over a book with ULTRAVIOLET yet. I'm kinda guessing that prompt won't happen lol. I've yet to start my book for SUN in the title, but I should be close. I'm probably also going to miss the listopia task; those are hard for me since I haven't found a way to cross-reference books on my tbr to books on the list to find matches, so that's very hunt and peck. The weird thing is I know I've found a tool like that for comparing my list against another member's, so why it isn't a thing for listopias is beyond me lol.

139735 Also, are we allowed to give ourselves spells or items to assist with tasks, even if our character wouldn't normally have them with a normal character setup?

139735 Ah okay, I see a new tab in the spreadsheet now, so that kinda helps. Am I just reading books for the plan, or do I need to somehow retrieve object again even though I'm ostensibly caught?

I am in awe at that referenced plan; I am not sure I am anywhere that creative at putting titles together lol, but at least I see I can be more verbose with the plan.

139735 For quest 1A, do I have to restart quest 1 entirely, or read different books to get a new step 3? Not sure how to proceed.

139735 So many feels on that, Sammy. Every time I read a book with a genre or character or title word I don't read as much, I'm always like, well, now a challenge task will come up needing this. :D

Okay, thanks! I usually don't do much with lists, but when I run over a list where I'm like "why isn't X book on there???" I'll add it. I very much question my accuracy when I'm adding books because I'm sure somehow they don't fit lol. I read lesser known books too, so I like repping those authors since it may introduce more readers to them.

139735 For the list tasks, if we have a book that fits, can we add it to the list and use it? Or must the book already be on the list?
