Jillian’s comments from the Song of Ice and Fire series Read ALong! group.

It is so true to the beginning of the show, and I can even picture the actors now. For you, do you picture the actors? For me, Catelyn and Eddard are so spot on!

As the chapters are obviously by POV, I will write down the first 10 POVs that we get to read about. When you are finished with that, write down your thoughts as a whole or for each chapter.

So excited to start re-reading the books with you all! Just a reminder that this group is a mix of NEW readers and re-readers, so no spoilers past the book we are reading!

We can have a different discussions for the show if you would like to discuss that, but overall, we will go about the book by chapters. We could read a chunk of chapters by a certain date and talk about that, etc, and then move on further. This way, we can discuss in depth and also so we are all on the same pace.

I am thinking of starting this weekend if everyone has the copy of the book already. Let me know.
