1. I want cricket to be announced as a national sport. It stood the test of time (being the nation's most popular sport for some 30 years is no small feat) and also the way it's growing, it'll never fall to second place in India. And also given the number of kids playing not just for fun but as a career, it should bring a whole lot of positives if it's made the National sport. And also I don't see why Hockey is still the National game, particularly when it's been out of favour for decades. If the National game must be indigenous, why not Chess? It enjoys more popularity, brings more people to the game next only to cricket and badminton.
