Ginny, Ishi : Those anecdotes you've shared indicate the huge difference between English teaching in most northern, Western States and us southern States. Our English teachers are so bad at English that I always peeked into their textbooks only to find them filled with meanings for every word of each lesson and poem :/ They didn't even know the author of Harry Potter. Heck, they didn't know that Shakespeare wrote so many plays apart from Macbeth and Merchant of Venice -_- (Both were in our curriculum). I'm not saying that that's the case everywhere but mostly it's the problem

I actually started Code Name Verity with Divi but couldn't finish due to lack of time. Will read it soon to start Rose under Fire.. From what I've read, it's a good female MC action book I thought :D

Ini : Yes ma'am. Will start in earnest today. Also buddy I'm going to read a book named "The Autobiography of a Yogi". I don't know if it is readable or not (as its a spiritual book), so I'll read it (my father's recommendation). If it's really worth reading, I'll recommend you ma'am
