135241 Manu : Yes ma'am.. Bbbut Aragorn is but a small character in the book.. Even in Return of the King, he was not given the amount of space he deserved -_- Movie shows him in a better light I hope :)

135241 No I won't inspire you to read it.. Seeing how Peter Jackson changed certain things for the betterment of the movie, I'm sure you won't like the book as much as the movie :) Will inspire you to read some other book :)

135241 THE GREAT GATSBY, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s third book, stands as the supreme achievement of his career. This exemplary novel of the Jazz Age has been acclaimed by generations of readers. The story of the fabulously wealthy Jay Gatsby and his love for the beautiful Daisy Buchanan, of lavish parties on Long Island at a time when The New York Times noted “gin was the national drink and sex the national obsession,” it is an exquisitely crafted tale of America in the 1920s.

The Great Gatsby is one of the great classics of twentieth-century literature.

135241 Anirudh Anna guides me but it's too much to ask from a CA passed out to read again :P :P

How sweet you are :D

I've been thinking the same thing.. Why am I not reading Lonesome Dove.. It's good.. Heck it's beautiful.. But still somehow I can't actually start the book :'( :'(

135241 Language is very beautiful but at parts it just went over my head.. Cant say too much about characters as I've already watched it and know what happens when..

Language is the interesting thing for me.. I thought the movie version was grand because of the director (Baz Luhrmann is known for grandeur, just like Sanjay Leela Bhansali).. But the book is as colorful as the movie

Narrator is the mute spectator :P
