Performing responsibilities is a must for every citizen, I agree. But unless in a war situation , I don't think anyone needs to show his love for the country just because some authority or person wants you to.

Patriotism is way too overrated, IMO. Especially when right wing politics rules the nation. You can't expect people to go around bragging that they're the symbols of patriotism etc. People have real things to do and real problems to solve.

I am an Indian. I don't like my country. I am not so much in love with this country. And I sure as hell, will never say "Bharat Mata ki Jai". Does that mean I have no right to live here? Does that mean I should leave the country?
