I did get a 2hr nap this afternoon and I know it'll be an early to bed night tonight!
Closing Survey1. How many books did you read during this readathon? Did you have any favorites? I read parts of 4 books! Hmm I think my favorite was probably Cleat Cute.
2. How many books did you finish? I finished 3- 1 I'd started prior to the RAT.
3. Did you accomplish your goals for this readathon? Yes! Finishing 3 was my goal!
4. How did your snacks and meals work out? Are there things you would change about the food and beverages side of your readathon for next time? The food worked out well. I wouldn't change anything.
5. Did you enjoy this readathon? What was the most successful part of your readathon? What would you change for next time? Yes, I did, my most successful part was getting through my library checkouts, and sticking to my TBR. I hope next time I get through a graphic novel.
6. Will you be continuing your readathon reading past the end of our official readathon? I was planning to, but then I didn't sleep, so I probably won't.

Half-Point Progress Report1. How many books have you been reading?
Have you finished any? Are you on track with respect to your readathon goals so far? I've worked on 3 and finished 1 and REALLY close to finishing another!
2. Have you eaten real food today? (Not just junk food, ACTUAL HEALTHY FOOD) What was your favorite food or beverage so far?
Yes, I had a poblano chicken corn & potato chowder from Home Chef. My favorite for sure was the maple frosted donut.
3. Have you been participating in any of the activities on our social media.
BINGO and at least posting discussions!
4. Are you growing sleepy? Do you plan to nap, or stop early, or are you extending the readathon hours to include sleep?
I'm always sleepy. I started early and plan to extend it till noon CST tomorrow so I can sleep.
5. Have you been outside yet today? Have you had much exercise (besides the heavy lifting required to hold your book)?
Yes, I did 2 of Jedi's jaunts to empty himself. No exercise, I can't.
6. How is your readathon going, overall?
It's going pretty well!
Susan wrote: "Enjoy your Readathon with your reading buddies! Good books for all, although I guess your furrybaby might be more interested in lying on them or chewing"He's actually a very good boy and doesn't do either!
Do you have a schedule for the readathon? Do you start early? (before the RAT officially starts) Do you continue after the official end time? Do you sleep?I started at 11 pm CST last night, and I plan to go through maybe noon CST tomorrow. I do sleep, if I don't I'm a wreck for a week plus, and at the moment, with my health issues I've been chronically sleep-deprived, so I don't think it'd be good to make it worse.
Ann A wrote: "Yes, pj pants for sure! I have a Dr. Seuss-themed T-shirt that says, "I will read on a boat, with a goat, on the train, in the rain...etc. (which is all true)."Love that!

Jennifer wrote: "Your Jedi is a cutie! I am readathoning with my spouse. We might even read a book together later."Thank you! The reader couple, goals!
Ann A wrote: "Jedi is adorable! I'm reading alone. The hubby only reads when he travels (I know, crazy...), but he knows he's on his own today!"Thank you! I used to do that with my ex, just let him know not to bug me on RAT days, he wasn't a reader.
What do you wear for readathons? Mine varies depending on seasons, but I try to wear something bookish. Today is a 3/4 baseball tee that says "Drink More Coffee. Read More Books" and sweat pants. Last night was my "This is a Novel-Tee" t-shirt and Christmas dog pj pants.
Cynda wrote: "How lovely, Avid, to read with your mom and furrybaby Jedi! My mother and I sometimes color books, not so much read books together. Always something lovely, isn't it mom and daughter and books."My mom got her love of reading from my grandma and my mom passed it on to me!
